Dear Sir Or Madam,My Name Is Matthew Bowden I'm of 42 yrs age, and I'm a former patient at Goodmayes Hospital on the Turner Ward, this is testimonial of a four week stay.I was treated considerable well, the nurses and doctor were very good to me and helpful. I was served with great compassion from the staff all of which deserve a medal of honour. I'm so grateful to all your help thank you each and everyone of you. I'm now flat sharing the from a Goodmayes Hospital arrangement, my flat mates are awesome and the living room and kitchen are great, the staff at the flat are very helpful and supportive.I'm please with my progress, Thank You.God Bless You All,Best RegardsMatthew Bowden

Goodmayes Hospital is an amazing place, set on lovely grounds, clean and well designed. The layout and system for visiting is fantastic. The parking is free, simply enter your number plates on the device in the corridor.The place is spacious, well maintained and organised. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Please for goodness sakes don’t send your family members here for mental health treatment. It’s one of the worst places I’ve ever stepped my foot into.Their system does not work. Patients are locked in, medication thrown at them, the staff are extremely mean, 90% of your items go missing and no one will batter an eyelid. Constant fights, nothing planned to keep patients mentally stimulated. Most of the doctors there are on a power trip and don’t listen to patient or family in regards to side effects, Please please look for an alternative. Please. I will reiterate the staff are MEAN! They show no care, they behave like they hate their job and speak to patients like trash.

This is the most unprofessional, terribly run hospital I’ve ever had to deal with. The staff are rude, they shout at family and patients. Their spoken and understanding of English is shocking. The liaison between the hospital and family is zero. You have to constantly chase for updates, never get to speak with a doctor and always spoken to abruptly.The information provided from different staff members is always contradicted. The processes are not in writing nor clear to staff, patients and family.They strip patients of all belongings and take no care looking after their valuable items. 2 diamond earrings have been stolen from my family member. No compassion shown at all.I advise anyone who has family in this hospital to call daily / attend the hospital and ensure your loved ones are being treated and cared for correctly.The place is a shambles!

I was here in 2018 February the nurse strangled me while giving forced injection and dragged me on the floor they don't respect you if you don't feel like taking medication they interview you like some sort of police and many more terrible things

This hospital" has released my mentally ill ex boyfriend six times since I've had the misfortune of knowing him. Guess what

Staffs working there are full of rudeness.. they should be the patients. They lack moral respect. Very unprofessional. CQC are not doing anything. Most Rubbish mental health ward. It should be name as mental staff ward..

I took my mum to Tulip ward for tests for a knee operation that’s due very soon.Her care here yesterday was outstanding the nurse who carried out all the tests was really lovely efficient kind and really hardworking.This hospital is lovely and never read comments that are negative.Goodmayes hospital is excellent and my mum was treated so very well

What a lovely team we had today. Cynthia, Val and Janeesha (I think that was her name), were all so kind, dedicated and patient. My mum has been through so much and they all went above and beyond to make her feel safe and comfortable.

Horrible place. They hold people illegally and staff tell other patients to beat other patients. 1 female attacked 4 times in a week. Sickening. Close this place down. Picasso ward is hell
