Rang up to explain that I had lost drive in my petrol lawn mower. Was told to bring it in and they would look at it. Got a phone call few days later telling me it was £200 plus to fix it. Went to pick it up and was told I owed them £25 to look at the lawn mower. I pushed back saying I had spoken to them 3 times (once in person when dropping it off) and there was no mention of this charge. No signage in the store nothing. Got told that they were not a charity and everything costs something". Still insisted to take £20 from me even though saying he could see where I was coming from.So I paid £20 to be quoted £200??? Amazing."

Not a nice experience : It felt like I was back in the 80s when a are a colored person walks into a shop feeling unwanted. I was not even greeted properly nor did it feel like I was welcome there. There was very little eye contact and I asked a few questions. I was told that to fit my new blade was 20 pounds, no problem I paid. I was then told that there is more damage and so I asked the rough cost of repair. The man who now tells me he is the owner told me he did not have the time to look it up. I found that very odd, I was then told we will contact you. It’s only a lawn mover shop and not accident and emergency department. Felt very clinical and as though these guys were really unhappy with what they do.Anyway, I went home feeling quite upset as I felt as though neither of the two in the shop wanted me to be there. I was not rude but extremely polite.I received a call promptly on the Monday to tell me the shaft was damaged and un-repairable. That’s fine. I went again today to pick up my machine and again it was as though they were hoping no one walked in the place.I was told to pay 25 pounds and I asked what for? He looked up in the air and pointed me to a sign on the table which I never saw before and said there it is. Well he is dealing with a consumer and he gave no awareness to me at all prior to any diagnosis that there will be charge.I told him they were rude to me last time and I cannot possibly see why a business would feel this way. He threatened me with a lien on the machine by telling the young lad to hold on . I reluctantly paid but was very upset.No one wants anything for free and I accept we all have bad days but sometimes just normal customer service goes a long way. I have spoken to my normal dealers who are some way away but they are brilliant and asked me to bring the machine to them. In fact for convenience I would have bought a machine today and as I was looking around I noticed no customer service at all helping me with a machine. I will buy one from one from someone else. Just an update my mover was confirmed as not unrepairable by Wexham Mower Services but it's been fixed by another company at a cost with a service for £120 pounds all parts included. It's working fine.

I was hugely impressed by the guys at Wexham Mowers. I run a gardening business and my equipment takes a serious beating. I took in my Hayter harrier pro, was fixed within 2 days and most of the cost was charged to the manufacturer under warranty. In total I paid £30 for a quick turnaround and probably £300+ worth of labour and parts.Great family run business in a convenient location. I look forward to working with Wexham Mowers for many years to come.

Went there today for a second visit, ended up leaving with around £1700 worth of kit, the main man there Dez is very competent and knows his trade, taught us the basics of the correct use and maintenance of the equipment, was given many complementary items due to the amount we had spent in store which was lovely, helped load our car and overall was a very smooth, helpful and efficient service that you are truly unlikely to find anywhere else, top notch guys there and I really would highly recommend them as a first option without a doubt.

Great service - very friendly and helpful! They supply patio gas if you're in need - there was a supply shortage at the start of bbq season and they didn't mind at all when I kept pestering them to check on deliveries!

How rude can these people be! Explained there an oil leak on the mower. Had it serviced. The leak still present, L/M returned for the oil Leak to be rectified.Now fixed. But wanted £20.00. For what?He then stated while on the phone that he is getting bored with the conversation and has work to do.Also in the same breath the says “he might be confused with another job he has done.Extremely poor service and a very bad attitude.
