Maths Mentoring

Said was my teacher at college, but was as important to me as a mentor. Maths was initially my weakest subject at A-level but, thanks to Said, I finished with a top grade and also with a newly found confidence in my abilities to go on and pursue a degree and now a PhD in maths.Aside from academic help, Said was so understanding with my personal difficulties, and his encouragement, belief and support really caused me to grow not just as a mathematician but as a person too.Can't thank and recommend Said enough.

said is a very good maths tutor, with helpful one on one support. i was struggling in yr12 but by my a-levels i was comfortable and happy again with the subject. he really motivates you to do work and even helps you balance between subjects so that you can excel in all of them, would highly recommend. :)

Said is a phenomenal tutor. Without his help and tuition I would have never passed both A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. He provides in-depth, personalised tutelage to make sure each and every student achieves their potential. Said was the best teacher at my high school and an even better tutor for maths A Level, he helped me to achieve amazing grades. Said has incredible patience and always explained things thoroughly and in multiple ways if I was ever struggling to understand a particular concept. He taught me the best way to study exam papers and get the best marks I could, as well as how to become a more well rounded mathematician.

Amazing tutor, went from a D in AS level Mathematics to a comfortable B. He doesn’t just help in his main subject too he motivates you to work harder and see the questions in a different way which helped greatly! Best tutor i’ve ever had!

Having been with Said for a few years I can’t recommend him enough! He has helped me with my GCSEs as well as my A-Levels. Massive boost to my GCSE further maths grade in particular. I went from a B to an A* in about a year. In terms of his tutoring I found his ability to adapt and explain things in a different light hugely beneficial.I’m extremely thankful for how patient he was when explaining concepts and ideas. Sometimes I wouldn’t understand the first time round, and he would find a different way to explain the idea.He always strived to push to me achieve the highest grade possible. Stretching me and pushing me to do that extra test paper. Its safe to say practice definitely makes perfect.Again can’t recommend him enough and a massive thank you to Said.

Said was the best teacher I ever had during my time at school and he was one of the main reasons I achieved an A* in my A-level Maths. Not only is he a great teacher, but he also a friend and treats you as an equal. He is outstanding at explaining things in multiple different ways until you understand it and he is very patient with you if you are struggling. He also helped me tremendously in sticking to a schedule of work every week to make sure I didn't slack off.Furthermore, he helped me in my Physics A level by offering me additional tutoring, and during this time my grade went from a D in first year of A level (without his tutoring) to eventually getting a final grade of A by the time I finished with his help.I would highly recommend Said to anyone who is looking to improve at their studies and/or their grades, no matter what level you are currently working at.

He tutored me for 2 and a half years and he always made sure I was working at my highest level. I understood when he spoke and explained because he spoke to as an equal and not as a lesser and I wouldn't have the grades I have now if it weren't for him.

At first i didn't feel like i was going to pass maths at all with the skills i had back in year 10 but when i saw that i was improving and getting better at answering difficult questions, i believed that i can achieve what i wanted and needed to continue my education. That was all because of Said! He helped me improve my maths skills and taught me everything that i needed for my GCSE's. There were moments where i didn't understand a question and he would explain it so easily that i fully understood it, which challenged me to have a go at similar questions.Said is not only an amazing teacher but i consider him as a best friend, we laughed together and made many happy memories. He gave me the confidence to walk into that exam hall and try the best that i could. I can't recommend Said enough, he is just a brilliant amazing mentor that gives you the knowledge you need to do amazingly on the exams. Thank you for everything Said!

I was stuck at a pretty low level in maths when I started, at Functional Skills Level 2. It felt like I was staring at a mountain I needed to climb, all the way up to a degree level. The journey ahead was daunting, and every tutor I found in Norfolk said it couldn't be done. Except for Said.He saw potential where others saw a lost cause. In just four months, he took me from my basic math's level, all the way up to degree level. He didn't just tutor me, he believed in me, and he made me believe in myself.His commitment is incredible. Said was there to help me whenever I needed it, even on Christmas Eve. That’s not something you find in every tutor. It shows that Said's not just doing a job, he really cares about his students.His way of teaching made complex things easy to understand. He has a knack for breaking down big problems into smaller parts that make sense. It felt like he was unlocking my brain and all of a sudden, I could see the answers clearly.The proof is in my results. I started with a score of 27.5% and after Said's guidance, I scored a whopping 87.5%. That’s a result that I didn't even dare to dream of.If you need help with math's, I wholeheartedly recommend Said. He's got the skills, the dedication, and the heart to guide you through, no matter how high the mountain seems.Said will be my first and only recommendation.
