Breaks Fold Farm Glamping & Camping

Lovely campsite, toilets showers etc clean with hot water. Staff friendly and helpful, pitches nice and flat, great walk to reservoir and close to other attractions.

We had a lovely weekend at the Breaks Fold Farm. The hosts were very helpful and gracious! Would highly recommend! Very close to a reservoir which you can have a lovely walk around and see great views

Brilliant! I took my two children (3 & 8 years) camping at Break Folds Farm in pouring rain!Excellent site. Great grass fields. Play area for younger Children.Shower block was immaculate!Washing/ fridge freezer section great!Easy to find. Just a few minutes drive from great walks/ national trustSite and loads to do in the local area!What a find! I almost don’t want to write a 5 star review in case this site is so popular we can’t book!Owners are lovely and very accommodating.Looking forward to many more visits to use this as our Yorkshire exploring base.

Fabulous stay at Breaks Fold! This is a great campsite, with excellent facilities (the shower blocks were the best I have come across - spacious and clean!). It was great to have the option of fire pit hire (you can’t bring your own) and to be able to pay for it by card. The evening delivery of these was a great way to get to chat to the owners too, who were really accommodating and enforced the rules about noise and dogs on leads, which we really appreciated. Very quiet spot with lovely walks right on the doorstep. We enjoyed the quiet bustle of it over the weekend, but then equally enjoyed Sunday night, when we were the only ones there.

We stayed in a Shepherd's hut for 2 nights and it was wonderful. Exactly what we needed as two tired parents. Nature, peace and quiet! The hot tub was great fun and the views beautiful. We also walked around the nearby reserviour which again was beautiful.

Enjoyed it last time I went , but now charging £2 per night per dog. That’s an extra £4 per night . Wouldn’t mind if they’re was a enclosed dog field , I’d pay for that . Most small places charge nothing. Or a pound per dog at the most.A shame I liked it there , but not that much, sorry.

Nice little campsite. They appear to get a lot of return customers. One family I spoke to said it was their 9th time back and another said they were on their 3rd time. This was my first time here, and I would not have any objection to going back. The staff were friendly, and they come round the campsite several times each evening to offer the rental of a firepit, you can't bring your own. As of May 2023, it cost me £12 for the firepit for 3 nights which included a 10kg bag of wood and a pack of firelighters. Marshmallows for toasting were extra. There were a lot of families on this site, lots of kids playing and a play area for them at the bottom. After 10pm the site goes silent and stayed that way until the morning. The only reason I needed earplugs in the early hours of the morning was because of the birds. The only negative about this site was that a lot of it is on a slope but this didn't seem to bother most people. There was a nice atmosphere especially in the evenings as a large proportion of campers sat around their firepits. The toilet block is fairly decent. They have separate male and female toilets and then there are 2 shower rooms each for males and females. The shower rooms also include a toilet and a sink which are kept fairly clean. There are also 3 sinks for washing up and a freezer for people to put their ice blocks in. Overall, I liked this site.

A lovely stay at the shepherd hut! It was absolutely beautiful and the location was amazing! Really easy check in process. Lovely wood fired hot tub and hosts couldn’t do enough for us! Will definitely be staying here again in the summer!

We had a great stay of 8 nights at Breaks Fold Farm in the Yorkshire countryside. The showers were warm and very clean. From the campground it was easy travel to the James Herriot museum, Brontë house and Shibdon Hall. We took a few good walks too - two from the campground and one on the Ilkley Moor about 30 minutes away. Highly recommend a stay here!
