Ach Da Thearnaidh Bed & Breakfast

One of our favorite B&B in the WORLD

The best B & B we have ever stayed in - an absolute gem of a find. Lovely, exceptionally clean, homely with every possible requirement a guest could require provided for. The breakfasts are as good as any up market hotel (including home made bread!). We were offered Greg's was lovely chocolate cake on arrival and home baking awaited us in the evening too. Marie also booked our evening meal on our first night. A few hundred yards from Ach Da Theamaidh there is a lovely sandy beach which is supposed to be the warmest on the West Coast and at the end of the track is the Memorial to the WW2 Russian Arctic Convoy. Definitely a five star experience and thank you Greg and Marie.

My wife and myself have been fortunate to stay at this relatively new establishment more than once, and each time I leave I can't wait to return! The journey there is superb, the accommodation & (locally sourced) food top-notch, and of course the location is hard to beat!We stopped in 'Heather', which has a really comfy sofa and armchair, and views out towards the open sea on one side, then views accross Loch Ewe and mountains on the other side.We didn't use the kitchenette facilities, but there's enough there to keep you self-sufficient, with a hob and fridge etc.It took us only 5 minutes to stroll to the beach (Firemore Sands), or we spent many-an-evening relaxing in their beautiful gardens, with views accross the sea-loch and surrounding mountains.It's just off the North Coast 500 route, so I can see them getting very busy this coming season, and the best of luck to them in this new venture.

Absolutely fabulous. Great views, great hospitality, great home baked bread and cakes, lots of space, peace and quiet. Hosts were very friendly and made sure you were comfortable and cared for. Oh to be able to return for more r&r.

Una estada maravellosa, ens reberen amb tè i pastísi l’horabaixa. El berenar del matí va consistir en productes locals boníssims. Ens allotjàrem a 2 estudis molt espaiosos i confortables, sobretot el matalàs, el millor que he provat mai. Al partir ens obsequiaren amb productes locals entre el que destacava una deliciosa Scottish tablet casolana. Definitivament per repetir!
