Wood Farm at Everdon

Everybody loves a review don't they??When looking to book an event or place, people will always check out the experiences others have had, and reviews can make or break their decisions. My daughter married her Prince Charming at Wood Farm last week and the day was just perfect!..After 14 months and 3 cancellations due to this flipping pandemic, we were able to go ahead and it was so worth the wait!! The location is stunning, many guests were from the London area and they were blown away by the countryside views and tranquilty of it all. Even the resident herd of cows and LARGE Bull add to its beauty! The building is perfectly designed and fit for purpose, and the narrow upper barn focuses the eye on the beautiful large panoramic window that backlights it's beautiful design..and the bride and groom who sit in front of it!....Downstairs the smaller barn opens onto possibly, the best patio/terrace area I have experienced. Stunning views and landscapes by day, and after a beautiful sunset (hopefully...we were lucky!) Well thought out lighting it all adds to the occasion. You can sing and dance your heads off, not worrying about the neighbours.....they are 1/2 mile away in Everdon!!....just don't upset the Bull!Of course this all has to be managed, In Rob and Tamsin the owners, and Becky the manager and first point of contact, we had a team that strained every sinew to ensure our day was perfect! Nothing was too much trouble for them, from being completely Covid complient, to running the bar and ironing out any glitches that popped up. For that, guys I am forever in your debt.... This review is a way of saying a massive THANK YOU for all your help and effort!! ..If you are searching for a wedding venue, give Becky a call ...you will not be disappointed!!.....I have no more children to get married, but so brilliant was the day I may just turn up at someone else's as that long lost relative.................

Beautiful place, was there for a friends wedding, surrounded by lovely countryside a photographers dream only down side got really cold when the sun went down so would sujest some patio heaters though I wouldn't let that put you off using this venue.

Recently got married here in September and it was a beautiful day. The venue is in a stunning location and it comes alive at night with all the fairy lights. Jel was a brilliant wedding coordinator and i would recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue for their special day.

We chose Wood Farm for our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with it! The surroundings are just gorgeous and gave us an interesting mix of backdrops for photos. Rebecca was awesome and looked after whole day, making sure everything ran smoothly from the background. If you haven’t chosen your wedding venue, I’d recommend going along for a visit and see if it’s the one for you as it was for us.

As a wedding Celebrant I have conducted a number of ceremonies at Wood Farm and have nothing but praise for how wonderful the venue is.Each couple I have worked with have had the most amazing time there and from the every outset of planning their wedding day , Becky and the whole Wood Farm team work always go that extra mile to make sure everything is just perfect!

Wood Farm - the perfect modern countryside wedding venue. We first visited this venue in 2018 and fell in love with the gorgeous surroundings and beautiful modern two storey barn. As with so many couples, our 2020 wedding had to be postponed (twice) and we finally got to have the wedding of our dreams on our third date in 2021! The team were so helpful and supportive throughout and on the day made sure everything ran smoothly without us having to worry about anything. You can set up the day before and clear up the morning after so you don’t need to worry about back to back weddings with a time pressure. We were originally supposed to get married in June but ended up having our wedding in November, the venue looked more beautiful than we could have imagined with the autumn leaves and gorgeous sunshine, this is definitely a venue for all the seasons! The driveway and lights outside are beautiful and inside is a blank canvas but equally already looks lovely with the beams so you don’t have to dress it up much. If you’re looking for a venue to put your own stamp on things and have an individual wedding with flexibility we would 100000% recommend Wood Farm. If the weather allows definitely go into Everdon Stubbs for some photos, we managed to do this in November and in May there will be lots of lovely bluebells! Such beautiful countryside views all around. In comparison to other wedding venues around here, this place has excellent value for what they offer.
