I've been to octopus 8 a couple of times over the last month, visiting from Hull, the shop has been done to a very high standard on both marine and tropical and the staff are very friendly and also very knowledgeable, i will be visiting again in the future.

Used for years, and my tank wouldn’t be what it is without them! Best shop I’ve ever been to! Great, helpful staff who will always point you in the right direction and aren’t just there to make a quick sale! Extremely knowledgeable and my go to every single time!

Being a potential returner to marine fishkeeping after a VERY long absence I visited this shop yesterday. Despite asking a lot of probably very dumb questions the staff couldn't have been more helpful and went to a lot of trouble to answer my queries and provide me with information. FIsh looked fat and healthy and corals and invertebrates looked in great condition. The labels describing the fish are excellent and state whether they are reef safe or not. A truly excellent shop and I would have no hesitation in returning there to purchase.
