Practical Paws Accessories

This is my. first dog, Betty, whippet. Lively, demanding, too social - trying to get all other dogs to chase her, usually through barking. She’s 17 months now and I’ve made every mistake in the book. Some other dog owners haven’t seen the funny side of her attempts to engage their dogs in wild, chasing games. Then I met Ben. He has remarkable skills. He has worked with both Betty and me. He is so confident and knows his ‘stuff’. There was a marked improvement in Betty’s behaviour even after her first session. Ben uses positive reinforcement, consistency and repetition. That’s what I try to do now. Betty loves him. I believe things are more understandable for her now. Ben has coached me in several ways, tone of voice, how to use the leash, using limited but specific vocabulary. He has made a huge difference.Betty’s recall, especially distracting her from the chase, sitting, waiting, walking to heel have improved tremendously. Lots of people have commented. Ben has given me confidence. It’s not theory, it’s practise. I can recommend Ben without reservation.

We have had a few training sessions with Ben so far with our new puppy and it has been an enlightening experience. Has really helped us to understand the best way of approaching training our little furry one and Ben is incredibly informative and professional. Both of his dogs are impeccably trained and he is so good with our Nimbus.We also purchased a lead and collar both of which are beautifully made and great quality and value! Overall been immensely happy with the service he’s provide and are continuing puppy training lessons with him for the foreseeable future.

Top product and great colourways. The lead feels great in hand and is very easily wiped clean. Recommend.

Purchased a two colour collar as a Christmas gift, owners and dog absolutely love it - I probably didn't need to spend so long picking form all the colour options! The collar looks and feels very expensive and durable. Thank you!
