Nevis Laundry

For 3£ saved the day when our Airbnb laundry machine failed to get our travel wardrobe dry! They were able to dry our armful of soggy laundry immediately for us so we didn’t miss our train.

Even though the website said they were open 7 days we were turned away after walking there with our bags of washing. They only do industrial washes on a Sunday. They said if we wanted a service wash on Monday it wouldn't be ready until Wednesday or Thursday.We do appreciate they're busy but please make things clearer on the website to save people wasted journeys.

Travelling through Scotland using only our feet and public transport, we were in need of washing some of clothes. After walking for 20 minutes with a bag of clothes to this place, which advertised both online and at the door that they took private laundry as well, we were turned down by the lady running the laundry (who was smoking a cigarette outside, seeming not to be all too busy). Even though it was only early lunch time she had no time today to wash our meager bag of clothes. It was according to her way too busy this week to take on private washings. On top of that, we could clearly spot some machines that weren't running at that moment.

In the camper and what a treat to get our bag of laundry washed and dried and folded in just two and a half hours (while we restocked food) for probably just a couple of quid more than doing it ourselves at a laundrette. Lovely staff. Thanks so much.

Asked if they provided wash fold services. There web site said they did. Messaged for confirmation and they responded they didn't provide this services and they were closed for the weekend and didn't open till Monday. There website states there open all weekend 9 to 6. Surely not customer friendly and looks to offer POOR customer service I'd avoid this place at all costs and go some were else that wants to provided services there in business for. Not only customer who got sh..y services check the comments looks like a pattern.

We thought this was a self service laundry mat but it no longer is. We were actually happy to just leave it and come back to pick it up the next day. And the man was kind enough to call our cab back for us on his phone since I need wifi to call internationally. (American on vacation) The clothes were clean and folded for us when we returned the next morning. I highly recommend this place.

As camper vaners, it is a real treat to do a service wash but couldn't resist. Very efficient, laundry was clean, no overpowering fragrance (had no smell at all) all very dry and folded. We got two weeks of laundry and all the bedding done for £15.50.

Walked for 20min with laundry and the sign said they accepted private laundry. Lady told us they were too busy to accept it even though multiple machines weren't being used and it was only around lunch time. Not customer oriented at all
