Just had another fantastic treatment with Louise! This time lash perm and tint. They simply look amazing! Louise has been helping me take care of my body and skin to look and feel my best for a year now. Professional, friendly and flexible with times, she works hard to work around busy schedules and offers great advice on skin care. I cannot speak highly enough about her approach to treatments! She is great with the wax!

Louise always makes you feel very welcome at The Beauty Retreat. Unlike other beauty salons I've visited before, you get real personal treatment and Louise has become a friend as well as a beauty therapist. Her home salon is perfectly private and tranquil and I always enjoy my visits, whether for a relaxing massage or an essential waxing session! The Beauty Retreat is very competitively priced and Louise also runs special offers which are very good value for money. Would recommend to anyone looking for personal professional treatments in St Albans and surrounding areas.

I have just had a facial at The Beauty Retreat which was fantastic. I have been coming to Louise for years but this is the first time I have had a facial. Louise starts with a back massage to relax the client, continues with the facial and mask and ends with an arm and hand massage. It's wonderful experience overall and leaves you feeling relaxed and really pampered. Louise I shall be booking another facial soon! Thank you

I have been coming to the Beauty Retreat St Albans for years to get waxed and it is honestly the best waxing experience I have had! Louise is so friendly and due to her amazing skill set she makes the waxing almost painless! Her attention to detail is impeccable and I always leave a very happy customer! Highly recommend!

I visited Louise for a dermalogica facial. She is very experienced and knows all about her products and what’s best for your skin type. My skin was so dry and I left glowing! She’s kind and knowledgable and I’ve booked a course of facials so I will be back again soon! Her salon is a hidden gem, and much cheaper than the high street. Highly recommend.

This was my first wax treatment with Louise and she completely put me at ease on arrival. I'm very happy with the result and have already booked to return in September. I would recommend Louise to family and friends. Louise also has excellent COVID cleaning and safety measures in place.

What a wonderful time we had at the Beauty Retreat! The 3 of us wanted to have a Girl's Day Out so we booked the Face & Body Indulgence package. Such a treat! Louise started the treatment with a deep cleaning facial and moved on to a very relaxing body massage. While one of us was in the treatment center, the other 2 sat out in her lovely garden just chatting and enjoying the sunshine. Pure heaven! We are here visiting from CA and found that this service was reasonably priced and a perfect way to spend the day together! Highly recommend!

Great, Friendly, Professional, Flexible....I have been going to see Louise for various treatments for two years now and she is brilliant. Always welcoming, although some treatments are painful i.e. waxing Louise somehow manages to make it almost painless! She is always flexible and professionalism just goes without saying. One of the best places around St Albans particularly as there is no hassle with parking etc like with some places in town! Would highly recommend her to anyone.

Louise is amazing! I have such sensitive skin but her waxing me causes me no issues!!! She is so good at what she does and the prices are great too. Definitely would recommend. Xx
