Bella Jane Boat Trips

We chose to go on Bella Jane’s Island Cruiser Trip 4 to the Isle of Canna. We were out on the water for at least 4 hours and saw some fantastic wildlife, including common dolphins, the cutest puffins, porpoise, grey seals, red deer, gannets and a number of other seabirds too. We were very lucky with the weather which made the trip even better. Our crew were very knowledgeable about the landscape and wildlife, and really friendly too. The boat only takes 12 people so there is a really great atmosphere and you’re not squashed in. The 1 hour explore of Canna was also really worth doing - lovely restaurant there on the bay serving delicious seafood. A must do on your visit to Skye. Thank you Bella Jane!

Cannot rate this place highly enough!Did a Trip 4 (Puffin Run / Small Isles Tour) on Friday, 18th August.The staff were so friendly and helpful, and put everyone at ease before the trip.Our guide, Johnny, was amazing! So friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. I wish I could remember half of the facts that he mentioned throughout the trip.The small islands were stunning, and there was so much wildlife and scenery for everyone to see.The highlight was seeing the dolphins on the way back to Elgol.Thank you once again for giving us an awesome experience and one that will live long in our memories!

The boat stayed atop the water the whole time, which I was really grateful for.The skipper, Alex, was brilliant and told us loads of interesting facts about the local people and area.They let my daughter ‘drive’ the boat which she loved and says she now wants to be a boat pilot when she’s older. She’s promised me free travel so I’m going all in on supporting her.5/5. Would recommend.

I would highly recommend Bella Jane Boat Trips. Very warm welcome. My 7 years old was frightened to go on the boat tour and they reassured here that it would be an amazing tour. They weren't wrong, she was thrilled at the end of it after spotting puffins, guillemots, seals, golden whales and lots more.

We visited Loch Coruisk with Bella Jane and it was absolutely amazing, one of the best experiences that we had on Skye. Andy talked about the interesting things to see in a really fun and enjoyable way. We also stopped on our way to see the seals relaxing on the rocks.

Just an amazing experience! The team are so friendly and knowledgeable. The RIB was exciting but really smooth, we were worried about getting seasick but we needn’t have done. Our guide Dave, knew so much about the area, the geology, the wildlife and the history but it felt like it was the first time he talked about it all, making it feel very fresh. We saw dolphins, seals, puffins, storm petrels, kitty wakes and peregrines to name but a few. To be honest if we had seen none of these it would still have been worth it for the views and guide alone. Cana is stunning and worth going on the trip that includes this island. Honestly the best trip, go!

We booked the 9 am Standard Return Trip from Elgol to Loch Coruisk.It was an amazing experience. We had a lovely guide on board and got free tea and coffee. We were the only couple on the return trip, so we got the whole place to ourselves. It was surreal.When we headed back to the boat (at 11.45 a.m.), large groups of tourists came on other boats, so if you want a more intimate experience, book the earliest trip.

Absolutely incredible! We scored with the weather today and the boat trip was incredible. We saw seals, dolphins and sea birds. Bella Jane offers many options for drop offs at the Loch or you can just stay on. Really reasonable prices for two adults. Highly recommend taking the standard trip, and packing a picnic to have on the Loch.

A great wee boat trip across to Loch Coruisk. I took the trip to spend 1.1/2 hours on by the Loch which was long enough to enjoy a short walk around. Several travellers went one way and walked back. Surprisingly the weather was amazing which made the trip more enjoyable. Limited parking means you should get there early to find a spot. The office has a few souvenirs and drinks and the lady who runs it was so pleasant and helpful. She's a real asset. The crew were also very pleasant making this a most enjoyable trip.

Unfortunately, because of the weather, we couldn't do our full trip, but with the help of the skiper, we did a 1h fun tour, enough to see some seals on the rocks.
