Fins Beach Cafe
My absolute favourite cafe on the Island - a must if you are in the area. Most beautiful walk to and from Fins, Molly and Betty are gracious hosts, food is consistently great and delicious, always looks beautiful, good choice of vegan, gluten free options. You won’t get a better view anywhere else - rain or shine, it’s always breathtaking. Access for wheelchair or buggy on the tables along the revetment (as long as it’s not a big high tide or you’ll get soaked!) Grab a takeaway hot drink if you can’t stay as their coffee is the best. My daughters say their milkshakes are the best ! Definitely recommend.

Wow doesn't begin to express how wonderful Fins is. The emphasis is on good food, healthy food, well balanced combinations. There is always a queue. If you want fast food then you best walk back up the path to the chippy. If you want excellent customer service, a friendly team, and actual proper, not ultra processed junk then you are in the right place.Pull up a chair, take in the sea air and wait a while, you won't be disappointed. We first discovered fins in 2021, we come back every time we are on the island. Even the locals love the food and are more than willing to wait.We highly recommend the soul bowls, buttermilk chicken, coffee, watermelon crush, kokoa collection hot chocolates, cacao crunch smoothie bowl, breakfast burrito, and pretty much everything on the menu.We had a wheelchair user with us and we were made to feel incredibly welcome, like we were part of the family. Nothing was too much trouble. A huge thank you to everyone for making our stay a pleasant one!

Walked up to fins with my son in the rain, I'm GF and can only have mill alternative, we only had a drink each but took some cakes away with us to share with my family. I remember this cafe as strollers but Fins is so much more, lovely staff who can't do enough for you. We are planning on coming for breakfast before we go home. Thanks for two lovely Hot chocolates and according to my husband the banana loaf was amazing.

We were visiting from Las Vegas in June/July. We found this restaurant on a walk from Shanklin to Sandown along the ‘Revetment’. Our first impressions were that the premises were well laid out and welcoming, with sheltered tables and some tables right on the edge of the beach. We then met the staff, who are amongst the the best we have encountered on any of our travels, friendly helpful and so much more!Well that deals with first impressions, now we get on to the food and drinks. Bearing in mind this is a seaside cafe amongst others between Shanklin and Sandown, the food was as equally impressive as the location and the excellent staff. This was top restaurant quality fare, expertly presented and attentively served.Fins, is a truly excellent experience in every respect, pricing was very competitive,I can certainly recommend a stop here. We ate at Fins Beach Cafe a total of four times, service and quality was consistent throughout. A real ‘ Hidden Gem’.

If you are looking for the perfect beachside cafe/restaurant, then you can not go wrong with Fins. Spectacular location, food and great service. The portions are generous and the quality of ingredients is good. You may struggle to get a seat on busy days as seating is limited and this is a very popular location for the above reasons, but well worth the short wait for a table if you can wait.

What a beautiful little beach-front café this is! Stunning views of the beach and the sea, we could have sat here all day. The staff are very friendly and the smoothies and milkshakes are fantastic!

Great little spot on the beach front, all tables have a nice sea view. Menu is nicely different and executed well, would recommend the Fin's breakfast roll! We went for just before 10 (food starts at 9) and it was very busy. Worth the wait for a seat and the food for sure. Front of house Izzy did really well to manage the queue and make sure no one jumped their turn as well as providing friendly service. Will definitely return!
