Was quite nervous about attending as I have never had an MRI scan. The staff were fantastic, very reassuring and everything was fully explained beforehand. I found it quite a strange experience but I now know what to expect if I need a scan and will not be worried. I hope we are helping to advance the research of diseases for future generations.

Amazing building screening long term members of the UK Biobank research project. A busy and tiring 5 hours of scans and tests but did get a free hot drink and sandwich! If you are invited to take part, do try to take up the offer.

Came here to offer myself for research purposes. Treated with great respect by the friendly staff who made my visit enjoyable. Having never been scanned in so many ways before made this for me anyway a very interesting experience.
