loved this walkthrough of the prison cells with the sounds of the prisoners talking amongst themselves as you wander through the sparsely lit cells. Definitely a highlight on the castle tour for me

Prisoners of War Museum
A small but interesting museum in the actual prison rooms of the castle, where prisoners were kept through history - pirates, soldiers of the Napoleonic Wars and the World Wars.The different rooms are prepared to look like the actual cells in the different time periods - the prison doors themselves are displayed as well, with the carvings of the prisoners on them.
