Being made redundant after 30yrs and unsuccessfully trying a different employment agency I felt very despondent when I met Nicola my job coach at Better Jobs Better Futures. She is such a tonic and always enthusiastic and positive. She has helped me regain my confidence by assisting me compose my CV and covering letters and finding and encouraging me to apply for jobs, reminding me of my personal and work skills that I didn't believe I had. She also found me two IT courses to improve my non existent computer skills. The entire team are so approachable, and nothing is too much trouble. Dave running a group interview workshop and Andrew helping me with mock interview questions. Nicola also set up Teams interview on their computer as I was nervous of this format at home. This whole service has been completely free and without pressure and successful! ..this week I was offered a job with the Civil Service.Thank you so much Nicola and the entire team, I am very grateful.

I was personally struggling to find a role and was in and out of temporary roles for several months. I was then referred to the college, who were very quick to support me, whether that be with CV help, interview help and much more. I was found an interview within weeks and have now been in said job for almost a year. I am now extremely happy with my work life and cannot thank the team enough and would recommend the service to anyone.
