Thank you for teaching me to swim and to not be afraid of water. My daughter learned lots of swimming skills and she is happy, we are continuing ahead with the lessons. I highly recommend Pavel and Luis instructors, they are the best! Thank you I really enjoyed!

Our family have been using poolside manor for generations, for the swimming lessons and the holiday camps. Lovely friendly staff, very personal and friendly, always going the extra mile to make the kids feel comfortable and happy. Highly recommend!

We chose Poolside Manor for a crash course in 2021 to build the children's confidence after Covid, but unfortunately my son who was 8 at the time, had his confidence crushed by a teacher who in my opinion shouldn't have been working with children. He punished children he deemed to be 'not listening' by removing them from the pool and making them sit, cold and miserable, poolside. Other parents had the same experience, inluding one mother of a 4 year old. My son, who is very law-abiding and very well-behaved, couldn't hear the teacher due to his hat covering his ears and the noise levels, and this was interpreted as bad behaviour and not listening. We had chosen Poolside as we had been there previously and enjoyed it. The aim was to grow the children's love of being in the water and rebuild their skills. Instead my son was punished and humiliated. My son, now 9, is still having to rebuild his confidence with swimming after this experience. We're now at Oakleigh Park where the teachers are kind, fun and respectful to the different needs of children and their different confidence levels. I can see the difference in approach here. My son is slowly regaining his confidence - for nearly two years now, he didn't want to have any kind of swimming lesson again. I would not chose Poolside again unless I knew they had changed their approach and removed that particular member of staff from their team.

I'm not very impressed with the standard of teaching here, for the price paid. I've picked up on a number of areas where my son can improve in his swimming strokes already (I swam at inter school competitive level through school ) - I haven't yet seen or heard the teacher make any comment to him. From what I noticed the teacher mostly focuses on the kids whose swimming standard is the worst and hardly pays attention to the others even though they too need guidance and improvement. There appears no way to even speak to or interact with the swim teachers either before or after the lesson as the door in and out of the pool is security coded. Not impressed at all.

It was a bit scary at the beginning to learn the lesson as an adult, but my instructor is very patient and make it easy to learn. Pawel understands how to teach beginners step by step and encourage students to try their best during the lesson. I was very impressed that I'm able to move forward by myself after two hours' lessons. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it is not easy to find an adult beginner swimming lesson and the location is so convenient for me!

I truly recommend swimming lessons and pool in Poolside Manor! Very nice environment, such a lovely people work over there! The teachers - Pawel and Jonathan are amazing! A lots of patience, well explained. They help a lot if you struggle to understand, amazing support from their side. Don't worry if you are scared or don't know how to swim at all, as they are great teachers, so I can assure you that you will catch up with new skill.I am so happy. It is my 5th session, and I can see big progress since my first start.Any money is worth paying and joy. Poolside Manor!

I was a beginner and took 10 adult swimming sessions to learn swimming. Harry and Lewis were really helpful and their teaching methods are extremely good. Even if there were 3 or 4 (or more) students they’ll patiently watch everyone swim, correct your mistakes and also give you suggestions which helped me a lot. Overall a really good experience and will suggest to anyone who wants to learn swimming. The other staffs are also friendly, quick to respond and help you in case if you have any queries.
