***Highly recommended***Suzy really helped us and our sweet pug Bella. Bella is a very friendly and popular little dog, who is generally well behaved and no trouble. However, her excitement at meeting other dogs and people sometimes resulted in too much loud barking, which wasn't nice for everyone. Suzy gave us a toolkit of techniques which have made Bella a much more focussed dog, who is attentive to us, not other dogs. We understand her better, and she is now almost always the 'good girl in the park', with people commenting on her good behaviour! Quite a transformation, though we worked extremely hard over 5 months to get this result. Constant repitition and positive reinforcement was the key. Suzy's calm, kind and professional manner all really helped too. Thanks so much Suzy! :)

Really helped us get our 2 year old lab who'd started getting anxious about going for walks, back into the walking habit. Not only gave really good instruction during lessons, but also lots of feedback after the lesson and written summaries of what to keep on doing, which I found really useful as having things written down always helps me stick to them and keep the consistency up.

I am a wheelchair user with a high energy French Bulldog puppy (I know, crazy right?) My goal was to be able to walk my puppy with my electric chair but I didn’t know where to start. I could still walk when my previous dog was a pupppy and he took to wheelchair walking when the time came with no difficulty at all but this time I was starting from scratch. When Gus was just 3 months old Suzy started puppy walks, training him loose lead walking and letting him get used to traffic, people, dogs etc. I was advised not to start with the wheelchair until he was at least 6 months. The first few times did not go well. He found it difficult to apply the skills he had learned with Suzy to the very different experience of walking with wheels.I was very despondent but Suzy was positive and supportive. She tried endlessly to find the right attachment that would allow Gus to walk safely and not pull me out of the chair! Eventually it all just clicked. Now I’m out every day and Gus walks really well with the chair, getting better each time.I am so very grateful to Suzy who was cheerful and supportive throughout the process. Frenchies are not the easiest to train (you won’t see them in obedience competitions) but with professional help and guidance from Suzy, we’re getting there.I have no hesitation in recommending her services either as a trainer or dog walker. If you need help with a puppy look no further.
