Been going here for years and it’s always been good. But through Covid I must agree with the comment about the lady who operates weighbridge. She with argue, she’s short and really makes you feel like telling her to stuff her products. Absolutely terrible to have her as the first contact with customers and really the face of the company.I wonder if the Earl Of Plymouth (the owner) knows of this problem that not only I have encountered.Real shame for a local established company.

Needed some pea gravel for a garden path, but only a small amount, spoke to them and was told I could collect from them with a trailer. So turned up and was weighed, stated the amount I wanted, which was then loaded into trailer. Reweighed and then paid, and it was far cheaper than builders merchants. For larger amounts the will deliver at milage cost.

I Visited Bromfield sand and gravel twice this week to inquire about some decorative gravel.BOTH times i was met by 2 different rude, unhelpful receptionists .I could see the office was busy but there is no excuse for down right poor customer service.In future i will purchase my decorative gravel from Homebase or B&Q where it might be a little more expensive but the employees might just have received some customer service training and the ability to greet a customer with good manners!
