Poundland

Actually this is probably my favourite store in the Poundland fleet. Granted every space is still packed to the Rafters with stock but at least this store is well stocked and in the correct place! Gone are the days when everything was a flat one pound that's accepted but prices are set to a simple round to whole pounds (£1, £3 etc) and not 99p etc.. so you don't have to worry about annoying loose change jiggling around in your pocket.

I like this shop, it's nearly as good as a super market, You can get named items for half price or less. 5 Capri-Sun for £1 750gm Kelloggs Cornflakes, £2 . One of my favouritesI have to drop some star's, prices are now ridiculous , eg: a box of 40 pouches of cat food ,£15 I just bought 48 pouches from Tesco's for £13.45. big difference. And there are a couple of women that are rude and unhelpful, I was actually told to do it yourself, when I asked for help with self service. She was just standing there talking to the security guard.

At 1:53 today 10/25/2023My mother was at your store when she witnessed an incident involving a customer and one of your managers. The customer, an elderly lady, accidentally dropped her pound coin, and it rolled away. To her surprise, the manager on duty at that time not only declined to assist the lady in retrieving her coin but also expressed his unwillingness to help in any way.This incident was distressing to witness, as it was clear that the customer was in need of support, and it is a basic expectation of customer service to provide assistance when such situations arise.I believe that the behavior exhibited by your manager was not in line with the level of service and professionalism that customers should expect when visiting your store. It left a negative impression and reflects poorly on your establishment.

I wanted to get reading glasses because I sadly left the one I was using in Notts. And I needed it urgently. I strolled in but did not only come out with the glasses; but much more. The prices are evidently worth the visit.

One of the best branches in South London. They are heavily stocked with many items...they were closing late 7 days a week. Top stuff especially when my local branch closes early. Great Customer service who is always helpful and Patient with everyone he meets....

Rude workers in that shop. They don't have any mannerisms, so disrespectful to customers. Isha, one of the workers is a whole drama. She is so rude and lack of good behaviour. Her attitude alone says it all. She once threatened a customer that she is going to beat him up and even called the security man who also threatened the customer and calling him names such as useless" and also wanted to have a fight with the customer. If the customer had not gone out of the shop these workers would have done something violent to him which would have caused their arrest and gone to court for assault. What they did is known as gross misconduct. These people need a proper customer service training. I dont think they were offered customer service training before offering them this role. The management rarely makes any comments about our reviews let alone apologise. This is very unfair"

Terrible customers service received earlier on today. I can’t bring myself to go into it but staff need customer service training ASAP. Interacted with 4 members of staff and it was all the same POOR AND NOT WILLING TO HELP.
