I have visited the shop in person and found the owners so friendly and helpful. When I needed a gift for my niece I decided to order it there for delivery because they were so lovely and the toy selection was amazing and varied. Not only did they get in touch (while on their holiday!) to check details of the order were correct, they also went out of their way to make sure it was delivered in time for my nieces birthday. In the end that meant a hand delivery and reimbursement of the postage costs. The service was above and beyond what I ever expected!

Interesting range of traditional toys at reasonable prices. The lady owner is lovely and very friendly. I have bought several items here for my two year old granddaughter, which she has loved. Will definitely keep an eye on new stock coming in.

I loved this very special toy shop. Julie was amazing, she helped me with my very lively 3 year old, gave wonderful advice and recommendations. The toys are all beautiful and I could have bought the whole shop. It’s definitely worth a visit or two or three and you can also purchase from their website which is great as we are not local. I ordered something online for my friend's one year old during lockdown and the owner stayed in touch over email and was super helpful, very friendly and made sure that the order was completely perfect. Will be ordering from here again. Thank you for such a lovely experience

Ethical, traditional style toys. This toy heaven for me and my boys. Every time we visit the Witterings we visit here. We stock up on Christmas pressies or little games for our holidays. Can't wait to visit again.

First time shopping in this delightful children's toy shop . An brilliant stock of fabulous wooden toys and a whole lot more.The lady owner was so lovely and welcomed our dog with treats as well. I hope to purchase a lot more from this independent business and you can order online as well.
