I have not actually purchased an alarm system. However, 4 out of of 7 nights I am rudely awoken by an alarm going off between 10pm-12am.Considering the fact that there is a ‘Britannic’ company van parked on the drive, it seems as though not even an employee of their company understands how to set an alarm properly, and not have it go off at ridiculous times.Avoid.

Excellent service and advice... excellent communication at all stages of the work: engineers are helpful and professional. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous service! I had problems with my alarm and called this fabulous company. Within 2 hours of calling the company, the engineer on call came and resolved the issue and installed a new alarm battery. I was not expecting such a quick turn around especiallyOn VE Day. The engineer adhered to the social distancing rules. Would not hesitate to recommend and use again.

Highly recommended for installation and service of home security systems. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful and work quickly.

I'm not mentioning any names, but someone who lives on Cotford road in the Maypole has a Britannic Security Systems van parked on the drive, and their alarm goes off constantly. I don't know whether it's a rival security company trying to sabotage the Britannic Security Systems Ltd ethos or an incompetent employee simply installing a budget house security system, but this needs to stop. My 6-year-old nans cat can’t sleep and is now irritated by the mere presence of the Britannic Security Systems Ltd van on the drive.All things considered, shop elsewhere , unless you enjoy the sound of an alarm unrelentingly pounding your eardrums everynight between 12-1am.

I certainly would not bother with this company. We took time to talk through with Simon our needs, a quote was awaited, chased it, still nothing. rubbish service. Not worthy of even 1 star.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY TO AVOID BEING CONNED.I had an alarm system which I inherited with my business about 7 years ago. The system was very old and I wanted to upgrade to future proof it.I was quite happy to spend more to do this. Britanic and I had agreed to install a modern fob based system. They sent an engineer to do this, but he simply fitted a like for like new keypad and left the premises. When I made britanic aware of this and that I wasn’t happy, they did nothing to get back to my calls. 10months later my accountants noticed they had actually fraudulently taken £439 out of my accountant without my consent. Again I made Julie (owner) and company aware of this and that I wasn’t happy with what they had done , but they weren’t bothered and were more bothered about keeping the money. I decided that I couldn’t work with a company like this as I can’t trust them. So I gave 30days notice to terminate my agreement. The owner Julie didn’t like this and she decided to terminate my agreement immediately which left my business without a monitoring system in place. As company they’re unethical and do not have any morals at all. I’ve had to report them to NSI(national security inspectorate) and office of fair trading. As a company they have no regard for their customers and seem very bitter if someone wants to leave!There are many alarm/ security companies out there, but please do yourself a favour and go elsewhere!

I'd recommend Britannic to anyone looking for a professional security firm. They provided installation of a Paxton Net2 system at our premises that's working perfectly. A friendly, quality service all round!
