Fantastic service. The driver was early, friendly and very helpful in giving recommendations for places to visit in the area. Will definitely use again.

Driver never left his seat, one hand luggage size bag in the boot, but managed to charge £12 for a 1mile journey from black horse to railway station. He was on time though.

I asked the locals for the number of a taxi service. They all said Austwick Taxis is the only one in the area but warned he is extremely expensive due to lack of competition. I rang up and as expected he wanted to charge me £40 for a 10 mile journey! Also he doesn’t take card payments, just cash or bank transfer which seems a bit odd. Ended up getting the train/bus as didn’t want to get ripped off.

Used Austwick taxi bank Holiday week , busy time. He was with us in ten minutes settle train station to langcliffe caravan park, told us price when we booked. Great service

Absolutely fantastic service and helped out when our day took a turn for the worse. My husband hurt his ankles doing the 3 peaks and couldn’t go further. We found out the trains weren’t running due to strikes and there were no buses. We were facing the possibility of having to walk all the way back. Managed to ring this company and within 25 mins we were picked up and getting taken back to the car park/b&b. We had no cash but he said bank transfer was fine. Wifi at the station failed and signal was horrendous but the driver was so patient and luckily the payment went through on route. I think some of these reviews don’t take into account the remote location and the distance the taxi company have to travel for pick up and drop offs. We were more than happy with the quoted price. I cannot thank the driver enough for his help… he really helped us out in a bad situation!

Bang on. Booked in the morning for the last train back from Carlisle. Turned up a minute after the train and swept us back without fuss, and had a friendly chat en route. It's all you want from a taxi.
