THREE GREAT SESSIONS TO DATEFive of us had a Long Arm Quilter Taster session with Jackie. What a superb day we truly all enjoyed ourselves. ‘Enjoyed ‘ is such a credit to Jackie, the large machine was absolutely new to us all. But Jackie managed to help us all to to complete a pattern onto fabric using a pantograph.I booked a session to complete my own patchwork on this great Long Arm… what a successful session . Jackie is very relaxing to be with and deceptively clever at making it all seems so easy. My first quilt on Long Arm followed by my second one a month later.It’s difficult not to over praise Jackie, everything is in the detail. Loads of help with thread choices , pantograph pattern choices. So much input to my success.What a find. So happy with my quilts.Thanks JackieSee you soonEsther

What a fabulous day. We were taken through 4 patterns and then had a go at free motion quilting. Jackie provided a lovely lunch as well. Not as scary as I first thought it would be. Will certainly return to have a go on one of my own quilts.

Once again Jackie has done an absolutely fantastic job. A beautifully made quilt and burp mats for a gift for a newborn member of my family. Jackie is so professional and so helpful. As I live in Australia and my family is in the Uk nothing is too much trouble for Jackie. She wrapped it and wrote out the card for me and then posted it. I can’t thank her enough.

Absolutely wonderful day out with Jackie and my quilt quilted too!!Calm surroundings, expert help, tuition and support with lots of laughs thrown in and tasty lunch.Have brought a few friends and they have all enjoyed and looking to go back.Thankyou Jackie for giving us such a wonderful experience here in west Wales. exceded my expectations as to what the quilt would look like. I asked Jackie to make a quilt for my daughter who is expecting her first child in October, I gave her colours and styles my daughter had for the nursery and within a few days she had sourced fabric styles patterns soft fillings etc... her attention to detail is extraordinary and the finished quilt is absolutely perfect. sent by courier beautifully and professionally wrapped. everyone I've shown it to as commented about how beautiful it is. so thank you jackie again im positive my daughter and granchild will love it for years to come xxx

Fantastic taster day with Jackie, her knowledge and expertise gave me confidence to use a long arm quilt for the first time. I would highly recomend The Stumpy Quilter, and will definitely be booking further sessions with Jackie.

I have had two fab sessions with Jackie now, one where I tried out a pantograph taster session with a couple of friends and we had great time. Amazing how easy Jackie made it, handling all the technical aspects, but a great teacher too. All three of us, including two complete novices were producing good quality pantograph quilting designs after just a couple of hours and we had great fun and lots of laughs along the way! Lots of cake and chat as well. I have also free motion quilted a complete quilt with Jackie, which was a fab opportunity to try out longarm quilting after many years of FM quilting on my domestic machine. Again Jackie made this a great experience, handling all the technical stuff just leaving me free to enjoy the quilting. We are so lucky to have this unique and affordable experience for quilters in west Wales. Thank you Jackie!

Just spent a DELIGHTFUL and very enjoyable morning with Jackie who taught me how to long arm quilt. I had a WIP, and the only thing stopping completion was the thought of quilting the thing. Today, I have returned home with A QUILT! What a great day. Jackie is a GREAT teacher, is encouraging, complimentary and, of course, a brilliant trouble shooter when this 'long-arm virgin' got herself in trouble. Many MANY thanks mate x

I had such a great day with Jackie and learning to pantograph is so much easier than I thought it would be - much better, less strenuous and quicker than using my domestic sewing machine.Jackie was with me every inch of the way - she really works very hard. We had lots of lovely chats about EVERYTHING and a delicious lunch I wished I had brought the second quilt I’ve already put together so I prolong the brilliant day we hadWith very best wishes Jackie and see you pretty soon with the next quilt.And thank you once again, Gillian xxx
