If you are looking for a knowledgeable coach who will take you from a complete novice to competent paramotor pilot, look no further.Mike is passionate about the sport and takes his time to explain all the pros (and cons) of this exhilarating sport.Even when you are solo, the support and advice never stops. Completely recommended if you are thinking of starting in this sport.

I trained with Mike in 2009/10, top guy and really good at what he does, if I ever decide to further my training it will be at ufly4fun with Mike Chilvers.

I trained with Mike last year and upon meeting him, it is immediately obvious how passionate he is about the sport and how much experience he has. He always makes sure that his students are prepared before moving them onto the next step in the training. He is always helping out other pilots where he can, he is so knowledgeable and a great instructor. When studying for my theory test, he broke the test down into simple segments. His communication is absolutely great, prior to booking a training session, and also before any paramotoring activity. A great guy with a great personality and exceptional teaching skills.

I like to say a huge thank you to Mike Chilvers for providing a great environment and teaching methods. Mike is very reassuring which inspires confidence and helped a lot. I was a complete novice and in a very short time I was in the air enjoying a fantastic new sport. I would highly recommend this club and instructor.

Excellent tution, no nonsense and helpful. I turned up at the British Open as an experienced pilot but without any BHPA qualifications. Mike, working with the BHPA leadership, was able to put me through my paces on a quick course and gave me some revision material for the exam before sitting the test. All went well and I was able to compete at the open. They also helped me after this and also spent some time helping me with my motor. A great bunch of people.

After trying other training schools this far out weighs any other just a shame i never found sooner Mike and Martin made every experience a good one keep up the good work and thank you

Many thanks to Mike for my training. originally trained in 2018 getting my first flights before moving on to flying with friends before returning in 2021 for some further training and allowing me to build more confidence and gain further skills. Always made to feel welcome when I return to the field (distance means I don't do this enough) and both Mike and Martin are always happy to help even after training.
