Awesome surf session with Charlie.Charlie is not only a great surf coach, but a great bloke, who took the extra time and kindness to share as much information as he could with me to ensure I'd be able to enjoy plenty of additional surf sessions, safely in the water.With his tips - I had awesome surfs all around the Devon area and had a great time. Also plenty of great boards to use for your lesson, tailored to the waves and your ability. You couldn't be in better hands!

Amazing experience!Me and my partner took surf lessons for the first time and it was such a fun experience.Charlie was very friendly and easy to talk to, he explained techniques well and adapted to our learning styles. You can tell he has a lot of coaching experience as even though it was our first time surfing he made it easy and enjoyable for us.I 110% recommend this surf school, whether it be for a fun 'bucket list' experience or if you want to take it more seriously as a sport. I believe their coaches will give you the experience you are looking for.

Great surf school. The team instill confidence in all their students and make the most of the time on the water. Decent numbers of staff when we visited in August, so there was a great ratio of students to instructors. Booking and payment straightforward. Would recommend if you are in Croyde.

Great surfing lesson with Charlie, started out taking many tumbles but managed to stand up by the end of it! Will absolutely recommend Croyde Surf Academy, excellent tuition and lots of fun!

Had my first Stand Up Paddleboarding lesson with Charlie today. Charlie is a great teacher and broke things down into easy to follow steps so that I could progress from sitting/kneeling to standing. I'm glad the lesson was on the lake as there was enough to think about in terms of balance/paddling techniques etc without having to worry about waves/current! I thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to SUP more in future

Had a SUP lesson for 4 people today with Charlie. We are all beginners and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Charlie is an absolute gem. He is relaxed and confident and clearly experienced. The setting was nice and private so didn’t have to worry about people watching. Given us the confidence to get better and get out in the open. You seriously will not regret booking with them.

Fantastic week with my 6 year old in with the kids surf group here. His water confidence went from moderate to absolutely half-fish. It’s not clear from their website but you can also join the group with your child. The instructors were supportive, full of smiles and never ever lacking in enthusiasm for my kiddo. But even when I left him here to surf on his own in the group every morning he loved it.
