We were recently in Paisley for the first time visiting family who recommended Houston Kiltmakers to us. My man ordered a full ensemble including a beautiful kilt and I ordered a hand woven paisley shawl from fabric samples. They were super helpful and interested in what we wanted and organised everything without fuss. Whilst I was in Paisley ,I took the opportunity to call in Houston's and had a very amiable talk with Mr.Ewan Macdonald.Looking around the shop I was very impress with the total range of Highland dress on display.Yes everything from tartans to f ootwear.Quality throughout!Absolutely first class.

We used Houston for our wedding - my husband bought his kilt and we rented for 5 groomsmen and 2 page boys/ring bearers. Considering the wedding was in America, organising all of this was no small feat.We bought quite a few other bits and bobs as well such as ties, bowties, hats and fabric. Some we picked up at the store, others went straight to my parents in America.Overall, a really good experience and we enjoyed working with Ewan.One small snag was the shoulder plaid causing a button on the jacket to pop off before our ceremony - the Houston team fixed it when we returned to the UK but unfortunately, without the shoulder strap to keep it in place, the plaid wasn't on for most of our photos or the ceremony.

My husband and I bought the kilt for our wedding here. The service was amazing, really professional and quick. They have a huge variety of kilts to choose from.
