Linda Wheeler PPL Ground School

I have joined Linda's PPL course twice now. The first time in April for Air Law, Ops Procedures, Meteorology and Human Performance. I wanted to try to see if this method of study would work for me and boy was I not disappointed. It was an intense 2 days of work and Linda's style suited me to the ground. She explained everything through the course work, then a mock exam then straight into the real exam. This style of study and straight in to the exams means the knowledge is as fresh as can be and helped me pass all 4 exams! I then rebooked for August to complete the last 3 days of exams. Again I passed yesterday's and am hopeful to pass today's and tomorrows.If you are worried about exams or perhaps are not very good at studying, I can thoroughly recommend Linda and her school. She is 1 in a million!

Linda is a fantastic teacher. I was having trouble learning by myself and so having done a lot of research I choose to do it at the Linda Wheeler PPL Ground School. Most 'schools' do not actually have a syllabus. However, not only does Linda have a syllabus which makes sure that you actually learn everything you need to do but her teacher style is one that ensures you remember what you are learning. Could not recommend the school enough.

Completed 3 topics of the 9 PPL exams with Linda this week, couldn't have done it without her help. Everything is explained thorough until you understand it no matter how many times it takes you ie using the flight computer, Linda will explain until you realise how easy it is to use!I highly recommend any one who needs that extra help or tuition to use Linda Wheeler GS.Thanks Linda.

Linda is a wonderful teacher. She will take the time to answer all of your questions and help you with any concerns that you may have. She makes the classroom an environment where students are comfortable working together and asking questions. Linda is always willing to help explain topics further if necessary. I highly recommend taking her course if you want to obtain your PPL.

Linda is a truly amazing teacher, bringing real life experience to the classroom, carefully and patiently explaining each and all modules, building confidence and knowledge at every stage. Really highly recommend if you want to get ll the knowledge you need and exams passed.Thank you Linda

A brilliant tutor who explains things so much more clearly than the Pooleys books. It would have taken me close to a year to study for all 9 exams by myself taking into account the demands of work and everyday life but Linda made it very easy to understand. Recommended to all.

I enjoyed a fantastic week with Linda at her ground school. She is knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I couldn't recommend the school enough, it made a huge difference to my practical flying once I completed the course.UPDATE:I came back to Linda (2022) to get my IR(R) exams done and once again her staff were brilliant in presentation and knowledge. She now has a new classroom which works really well and isn't far from the old location.

Absolutely brilliant, Linda has a wealth of experience and simplifies complex ideas and theories to an understandable level making sure that you know key information. She also teaches you areas that may not be in the exam but are important to keeping you safe in the air. There are small numbers of students in each class and the atmosphere is supportive and friendly. I haven't studied for 25 years and I still passed!! I can recommend Linda wholeheartedly.

Linda is an excellent teacher. If you prefer classroom/interactive learning to books, this is a no brainer. She's very good at explaining things in an easy to understand manner. As a PPL student, many instructors may assume you know certain terminology or how things work. But Linda makes sure you've understand everything clearly. If you want to really understand the syllabus and pass all your exams, this is the place to go.

After trying to get my head around the Airlaw book for several months I decided to give Linda's ground school a try and I'm so glad I did. Linda is an excellent teacher who has vast knowledge and experience of the topic and explained it in a simple but effective way. I'm sure that if I hadn't had gone it would have taken me even longer to pass the exam which I managed to do on the day. I would recommend the ground school to anyone and I'm looking forward to doing more learning with Linda.
