Nice big park, very well kept no real litter. Big play areas for kids and a big duck pond with a fountain that prettyHuge skate park with vert ramps, half pipesAlso 2 coffee shops, 1 you can sit in and a take-out at the opposite side of the park.Dogs are on lead but there is an off-lead fenced-in area for dogs to play.Great park, highly recommend

Fabulous huge park brilliant for kids 4 different areas in the play park. A water and sprinkling area for the extra hot days so the kids have fun running through the water. Huge field often used for festivals shows and fairs. We stopped and had ice cream from the small parlor, and it was lovely. Walking around the lake was beautiful until we went to the far side of the lake it was filled with bird poo. All over the paths field side of the water, Benches. Was a build up which would suggest its not cleaned regularly. Other than this the park is beautiful. And the enclosed area for the dogs is fantastic.

Went on a warm day with the kids. Running round in there costumes in the water fountains and sprinklers. Lovely park for a stroll and picnic. Play area for all ages and very clean. Lots of parking but can get busy

It's a nice, medium-sized park with a generous kids play area, a pond with lots of ducks, geese, swans and other birds.There's one or two dog areas as well along with two cafes, a tennis court, Basketball area and so on.Overall I'd say it's a great place located close to the town centre however my only issue is the fact that the park is always windy, way too windy for my liking however, should you be lucky enough to visit it during a sunny day you will be enjoying it to the fullest.

Beautiful place to spend nice evenings with family and dogs. Fantastic playground and skatepark , a lot of Green place for a picnic or walk around.

Great park with almost everything you could ask for. Lake with birds & a fountain, Skate Park, Playgrounds, Splash Pad, Climbing Boulder, Tennis Courts, Bowling Greens, Cafe, Bandstand & usually a Butterfly house (though that’s closed at the moment I think)Only thing I can mark it down on is the parking. There is no car park so you have to try & find a spot on the surrounding streets which sometimes can be difficult.
