Overall a wonderful experience. The lady who runs the place is so welcoming and sweet. The food was incredible and I say this as a meat eater who loves Korean food.It felt like eating at your friend’s mum’s house, I felt like I should have helped do the dishes after!I can’t wait to come back.감사합니다 ❤️❤️

Great little Korean restaurant near Liverpool street that is being run by mom and son. Everything is vegan-friendly, and the food was delicious and also came in large portions. Note that the place very small and can only accommodate max three teams so some wait is expected (you can also make bookings). Also theres no toilet. My only wish is for them to introduce non-vegan bibimbap & kimbap variations. Would recommend to anyone who wants an authentic taste of korean food.

We went in on the off chance we could get a table and luckily we could (there are only a few inside). The food was fantastic, and the service was even better! The owner's Mum works behind the counter and made us feel very welcome, she was attentive, and made us laugh. It's honestly so refreshing to get this sort of service (especially in London) and she is a credit to the restaurant. There was a steady stream of people coming through the door as we sat and waited and there just such a nice atmosphere. If you enjoy great food and great service then this is for you. Thank you, we'll be back for sure!

Absolutely lovely spot, I’ve had it saved after seeing this on Instagram and couldn’t be happier to have finally gone. Very small place so lucky to get a table, welcomed in by the loveliest host, who couldn’t have been more friendly. She recommended the spicy pork with rice, which was delicious and came really quickly.

What a gem! Hands down the best vegan food I’ve had in London. I love Korean food and am vegan so was looking for somewhere that ticked both boxes. Came across this place and decided to visit for my birthday yesterday with my partner. A family run business in the heart of the city. The lovely lady who served us was charming and wonderful. We ordered the Tteokbokki, Kimchi Pancakes, Dumplings, Spicy ‘Pork’ and ‘Beef’ Bulgogi. The food was cooked fresh to order, came out quickly and was sensational. Can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu! Thank you!

What a fantastic vegan place. Grace (the mother of the owner/chef) was so nice and warm. Such a great personality- she greeted us so politely and had a very good conversation. We absolutely loved the food. Every item was excellent. Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Grace and Michael!!!

I took a non vegan friend to Mukbap as my guest and we had a delicious lunch with lots of left overs .Fresh Korean food with a sweet lady who serves and her younger relative who cooks so everything is fresh to order. There is only seating for 8 (table for 2 and 4 and 2 bar stools by window which we had) so it may be better to order and collect.Pros: Lovely staff of two so a precious independent outlet .Delicious, fresh food .New meus regularlyCons: Not suitable you're in a hurry .Small menu with no desserts .Tricky to locate.
