What a place! We visited multiple times whilst staying in Portree as the drinks offerings are the best in the area, if not the whole Isle!There’s a great whisky selection, a nice range of wines by the glass and some unique (and delicious) cocktails. Will is an excellent host with lots of knowledge, so if you don’t know what to go for, he can point you in the right direction.If you’ve managed to get a table at the restaurant downstairs, it’s perfect for a pre/post-dinner drink, however you don’t need a reservation for the bar upstairs. Simply walk in and enjoy!

Get here if you like spirits. Run, walk, hobble, crawl, or wriggle. It's great. Cute space, amazing owner/ bartended.He taught us some things about cocktails and gave us extremely personalized advice on scotch. Watched him do the same for other patrons.Everything we had was phenomenal.I had a cocktail with a spirit blend he'd made for the drink and homemade rhubarb vermouth.He clearly loves spirits and this really shows in the drinks.This was hands down our favorite place in Portree.

William is amazing. He sports an amazing collection of whiskys and truly has a passion for his craft. He gave excellent recommendations to each member of our group on spirits they would enjoy and was spot on every time. The bar is cozy and friendly. You will not be disappointed in the experience.

Finding a cocktail lounge in Scotland, I didn’t think it was possible. Finally an establishment that’s able to highlight the scotch whiskey this country is known for. Very intimate, very cozy, extremely welcoming. Amazing ‘mixologist’

Cozy upstairs bar with nice views and great whiskey selection. Will is extremely knowledgeable and a great storyteller of his whiskey collection. Try the Manhattan, you won’t regret it! My husband had the Young and Mature flight and really enjoyed the pairings that Will selected for it.

Enjoyed a beautiful sunset with exquisite whiskey cocktails here. The owner/bartender is friendly, approachable, and an expert mixologist. He even shook a delicious non-alcoholic bramble cocktail

The bar upstairs at Scorrybreac will serve you the best cocktail you’ll find on Skye. Will, the barman, is a charming conversationalist and he absolutely knows his stuff when it comes to whisky (and spirits in general). Their menu is creative, with lots of locally focused cocktails, but you can also get a well-made classic if that’s what you’re after. Don’t miss grabbing a drink here if you’re in Portree!

The best cocktails our group had in Scotland! The barman, William, certainly knew his stuff. He educated our group of bourbon lovers on Scotch and hand selected a pour for each of us based on our taste profiles. The collection was quite impressive with several rare bottles. Bonus: when we dropped by the bar was full, but Will took our number and called us when space was available about an hour later. We’re sure glad he did!
