Four weeks on from a facet joint injection from Mr Ahmed Sadek and my faith in this extraordinary spinal consultant has been completely justified. I was able to report to him today that walking, rising from a seated position, and (best of all) sleeping, are now virtually pain-free. Mr Sadek suggested further physiotherapy to deal with L4/L5 pain while standing. This is a result I couldn't have though possible. However the key to Mr Sadek's magic is the utter confidence he brings with him and which rubs off on his patients. My partner said I seemed to be visibly walking taller after my follow-up reviews. Doctor Sadek is the best surgeon I have consulted till date. He possesses great specialist skills and helped me recover from sciatica back pain by offering very focussed treatment and care. Mr Sadek provided a great experience. I had an emergency appointment and was seen very quickly given that I had limited mobility from my back pain. He was very understanding and reassuring. It has now been 6 months since life changing surgery was performed on me by Mr Sadek , from rapid deterioration to now enjoying every day things most take for granted & a gradual improvement by the day. I consider myself very fortunate to benefit from the exceptional surgical skills and expertise of Mr Sadek. He performed a complex cervical spine procedure to decompress the spinal cord, made more difficult by residual scarring from previous radiotherapy.Prior to the intervention by Mr Sadek, my condition had deteriorated rapidly in just a few weeks. With my legs failing and my hands almost useless, I was housebound and unable to even write my name. I was totally reliant on others and the future looked bleak.The outcome of the surgery was immediate and astonishing.After a little over two weeks I was walking outdoors without aids, writing legibly and using a laptop again. The door has been opened for me, in time, to resume my previous full, active and independent lifestyle.
