I recently sent my Roddy Doll to have his eyes replaced after 61 years, they had fallen into his head.He returned home last week and I'm not ashamed to say, I cried. I have my beautiful boy back.Thank you so much, can't recommend both service and friendliness enough

Really moved by the restoration of my 1950s celluloid doll. She looks so lovely again. Her arm was shattered and I managed to source one which was not an exact colour match. Paul did an excellent job of tinting the replacement arm, restringing her and other small repairs to make her whole again. Thoroughly recommend Recollect.

Amazing doll hospital, would highly recommend.I took a wax doll from 1851 to have her facial paint redone- she had lost her eyebrows, lashes, blush, and lip colour over the last 170 years! I really appreciate the time Paul took to talk me through the different options. He was very knowledgeable and a delight to chat with.A few weeks later the doll was finished, and I am so happy with the result. It was important to me that the doll's new features blended in with her age and were accurate to how she would have looked in the past. It was exactly as I had hoped- the new facial features make the doll look more like she would have done all those years ago and have really brought her to life. She has pride of place in my collection!The doll hospital also sells a huge range of antique dolls (couldn't resist coming home with a new one!), as well as beautiful antique style dolls made by Paul. A great experience and I will definitely be visiting again.

I was apprehensive about getting my 1950's doll repaired, but I need not have worried at all.
