Having inadvertently watched the 4 in a Bed programme on which the owners of this B and B featured, I was completely appalled by the attitude of the owners, condescending, supercilious and rude with a complete disregard [ or perhaps sheer ignorance] of good manners in every sense. When featured the rooms looked both gaudy and pretentious, which I would have expected. There is no question that I would avoid staying at Bath Lodge Castle at any cost.

Not a castle. Nice building but ruined by the owners. The owners lack any customer service skills and their rudeness and arrogance ruins hope of having a nice stay.We stayed in the Windsor room, for the price of the room we expected complete cleanliness however there was dust all over the bedroom and grime in the bathroom, the shower lacked any pressure and we had to ask for a new kettle as the one in the bedroom was broken. It’s a shame because it has so much potential and the staff are lovely, it’s just ruined by the owners

Stayed here in 2019 and didn't leave a review at the time but gosh I've just seen these awful hosts again on 4 in a bed. Whilst the room was nice is was very fussy and actually not particularly clean. However, it was the awful hosts who totally ruined our stay. In fact host is the wrong word! They seem to think they are above everyone, looking down their noses at you. We found being in their establishment extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable. The worse place we've ever stayed. Stay here at your peril!

Never leave reviews unless personal experience,but after having watched Four In a Bed, I have to say the owners are the ones who are despicable against the comment they made to other participants. Not even want to stay there for free.

Haven't stayed here and never would. Their comments on 4 in a bed are a disgrace! People like us our kind of people, who do they think they are? They think they are the only one's who have experienced luxury! What snobs i really wouldn't like to meet this bloke because if he spoke to me like he did to those people on the show!

Fossils like the ones who own such a place unfortunately exist. Rude and pathetic. I feel for Bath. Such a place could do with much nicer people.I suggest nobody with any self respect to go.It's Zimbabwe not Rhodesia and it's 2023 not 1953.Zimbabwe wouldn't want people like you back and we unfortunately have you.I didn't go there and never would. For in a bed shows them for what they are

The rooms were nice however the bed was not the best quality. The breakfast was presented well however my bacon and eggs over cooked.The owners were very nice however made you feel uncomfortable. Stayed in Bath many times when working and sorry to say will not be returning to this establishment again.Not what is all made up to be.Lord Collier

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and the castle, rooms and location were beautiful. Breakfast was very tasty and although there was only a couple of members of staff they attended to everyone efficiently and kept everyone happy - hats off to the two girls whose names I sadly forgot to get. Don't forget to use the free hot tub at the bottom of the garden! Would love to stay here again and will definitely consider it for our wedding!

I've never stayed here but am watching four in a bed. The owners seen rather stuck up about themselves and seem to have to have everything perfect. Lovely looking castle but personally night not want to stay as one of the owners left the kitchen whilst cooking the breakfasts. They have potential but they might if just ruined that
