Can't.praise Church cottage enough. Beautiful location, spacious and rustic. Dog friendly, sleeps 6. Everything you need just bring clothes

Lovey place to come and spend a holiday

Lovely cottage in middle of dent.nice walks from there but you need to take own routes or look up on Web as no info in cottage because of covid I take it. Nice pubs friendly staff and locals, shame weather was not kinder

Dent is a beautiful little cobble street village that I had visited twice before, cobble cottage is very basic and that did not bother us but we have stayed in much better cottages in the dales for the same price I paid, first thing you notice in the cottage is the very strong dog smell as you come in downstairs and i guess that is expected seeing dogs are allowed, the real problem with the cottage is it needs lots of work done to it at least a paint, new carpets and new furniture and curtains and blinds to make t more comfortable to stay in, it needs a new compleeat bathroom upgrade and a new kitchen upgrade too, it could be a lovely cottage but needs money spent on it, we did not get any towels until Tuesday morning after arriving on Saturday but the lady who looks after the cottage was a nice lady and apologised for not leaving us any, I also think the cottage needs re wiring and new shades it needs a lot of work doing to it, I'm not sure if the owner is thinking of spending money on this cottage as it needs a lot of work to make it comfortable for paying visitors and for upkeep of the cottage, locals in village are friendly and nice people with two lovely pubs, the bed linen smell very strong, I'm not sure what is sprayed on them but it's very toxic and is not nice to breath at night , we would not come back to cobble cottage but would book another cottage in dent, its a shame this cottage has not had money spent on it, oh I forgot to add the smell downstairs is also from the mould on outer facing walls

Always a beautiful place to visit

Stayed in the centre of Dent village at lovely Pennybank Cottage!! Beautifull scenery all around many walks around the hills and valleys surrounding beautiful Dent!!
