We have just ordered a takeaway and didn't actually get what we ordered - we were given an extra portion of a meal that we didn't want (only ordered one but given an extra one and paid for 2 it turns out) and we ordered 2 sweet and sour chicken and it definitely wasn't sweet and sour....very disappointed and ended up paying £5 more than we should have.... not a very happy customer here and food very bland.

Had many take aways from Jade's and never been let down . I would definately recommend it, we love it. Great chicken okay prices and just a good take away.

The food is great when you finally get it - they continually take hours to produce the meals, it doesn’t seem to matter what time you order there is still a long wait! For example tonight we ordered at 5.45 for delivery and we were told that it would be delivered by around 7, by 7.30 my husband phoned up and told them to cancel the order as it apparently still hadn’t left the building!

Great food as always our favourite for over 8yrsCounter service fantastic as always, we have seen many comings and goingsOnly criticism, take into account vegetable dishes should be kept separate from meat portions, as many vegetarians have food contaminated this way.. the platter with seaweed, vegetable rolls, ribs, prawns etc are all in together..One hungry family member due to that situation

Called on the way home from Spain with my wife. The spring rolls was fab. Chicken curry was lovely and also ordered the chicken in garlic and Blackbean sauce and egg fried rice. Lots of chicken in the dishes and all was £15.90, was plenty for 2 people. Really good value and left overs for a light Lunch for 2 people for the next day. Would say better value than our best local.

The food is always good here so I ordered one to be delivered to my daughters flat in Fareham last night. The sweet n sour balls and prawn toast was well overcooked. So much so that they should have been thrown out and the chef start again. The rest of the meal was as good as it always is but as I paid over £30 for the two of us, I felt disappointed. I don't think my daughter would order from here again but will stick with her favourite, Canton Express. The order service and delivery were fine too, it just seems that anything deep fried was incinerated and no prawn crackers!

Hoped it had improved in the five years since we visited. Some dishes were OK but crispy seaweed was chewy. Noodles tasteless, and ribs drenched in artificial tasting red sauce. We managed to eat enough then the rest went in the bin.

well we orderd from them my dads chicken was to dry to eat he was supposed to get peas with it witch he did but very little and was hidden in the sauce. we phoned them offered us a free meal next time we order.so basically we wasted money and my dad went hungry we wern't happy my mum phoned them again about either getting more food re delivered or money back.They said no and actually laughed down the phone at my mum and were very rude we will not be eating there again dont suggest it.

I ordered the house chow mein, lemon chicken and some chips. We asked for no onions or peppers in the chow mein. For what we paid, we had decent portion size and they did as we asked and left the onions and peppers out. What stood out the most and is the reason we would definitely eat here again is the quality of the food was simply done and yet tasted really fresh. Not oily or greasy like some takeaways. That was a highlight and we would highly recommend Jade Palace to others!
