Hull Trains
My recent 1st class journey from Hull to King's Cross, London was excellent. The seats were comfortable, the train was quiet and the toilets were clean and modern. The onboard sandwich, crisps and coffees were very tasty too!

£200 for a ticket to The Smoke and I'm stood up, shoulder to shoulder with a hundred other people. 2023 and I'm traveling like it's 1850.

Hull Trains are appalling. I travelled up to Hull in hot weather during the summer and the air conditioning wasn't working. Hull Trains response was that it is really difficult to fix the AC. Oh that's OK then.

Unfortunately it was disappointing. I had the first train booked cancelled then when I was finally on one it was understandably over crowded and it was cold and uncomfortable.

It's probably one of the quietest train stations in the country. You quickly get to the platform from the entrance. It's very central with St. Stephen's shopping centre adjacent to it. Taxis and buses readily available outside the main entrance. Also has a car park via a side entrance

Let's face it, Hull trains could do with updating their trains. They look very tired, are noisy and you're hit by the musty smell as you enter the carriage. But, the service I experienced yesterday on the 8.35am from Brough to London Kings Cross was second to none. Kevin the onboard manager is a legend! He really understands what it means to give customers a great travel experience.His voice is very pleasant and friendly to listen to. He managed to get the tone and volume of his voice just right.The announcements were very useful and informative.The train was also early which was a first for me :-)! Onwards and upwards (fingers crossed). :-)

You're better off walking, you'll probably get there quicker.Hull trains are all in terrible need of repair and frequently get cancelled at very short notice.
