Unite Students - Archways

Well it is definitely not what I expected after I looked at the photos. There was like literally nothing in my room, had to buy everything so like 70-100 pounds extra costs. The bed is not really comfortable either which can be said about my chair too. But they have one semester tenancies and it is definitely cheaper than other places in Sheffield.

The service they provide is excellent.

UNITE STUDENTS ARCHWAYS IS A GREEDY MONEY-MAKING STUDENT ACCOMODATION COMPANY. They have scammed hundreds of international students by displaying attractive pictures of their student accomodation. But in reality the accomodation is disgusting. The service is terrible. The administration does not care about it's tenants. I moved here recently in September 2022. There's a rat in my living area since before I moved. I have lodged several complaints about it in maintenance but they say it is not their priority. I have paid the due payment for staying. It is fair for me to demand a hygenic place to stay in. If archways Sheffield cannot get rid of the mouse, then at least have the decency to accommodate us else where. Unite students is a huge company and has several student accomodations across Sheffield. This is pathetic. I will never ever recommend Unite students to anyone.

Not satisfied with the service. The kitchen was not clean and all the appliances were dirty and stinky. Such a terrible experience. I did complained about this at the reception but they cleaned it after 3 days of my arrival. I don’t even feel like giving one star.

Spacious and wel aligned buildings, about six each about 4 stories with about 10 rooms on each floor. all amenities available including a gym, games roomSecurity is okay. Cleanliness depends on the occupants of each building/floor

Descent experience... Worth the price.. Can surely recommend to others...

Maintenance have to be looked into by management. Reasonable room for the price.

Worst accommodations where rats and mice are there all over the place . And even inside the kitchen ,bathroom and room . Whenever we raise an complain no actions will be taken quickly and solved . They blame us for everything. Very worst accommodations. I have tried raising complaints regarding the pest but no proper action is taken . My flat is full of droppings of rat and mouse .

RATS IN THE FLAT almost all flats have rats in it and they do nothing and blame it on the tenants this is really horrible kindly think twice before. Considering to live here

Had a very bad experience during my check in to archways... literally no proper room to stay after paying.Not all cleaned rooms or kitchen we received.such a horrible experience
