Absolutely lovely park for my 2yr old to play safely in and I used to walk my daughter's dog here few yrs back when she lived in Barnstaple and it's a great park.

Very handy to the Barnstaple High St, which is a flat short walk, very reasonably price for parking. Public conveniences across the road adjacent to a nice park.

In many ways it's down to expectations. It's a place to park cars, although not exclusively. You can park vans, motor bikes, small lorries. That's down to the marketing department.It is for public use however, so that is correct.Essentially if you needed to park a vehicle of some sort in this area or nearby, I'd say it was adequate.But don't be put off by the title, it's not exclusively for cars.
