What an amazing beach!! It's vast, it's safe, it's clean and it's 5 minutes from one of the best playparks on the island.

Stunning sandy beach, there is a path to the beach which is a short walk from the car park and to the right side of the dunes along the grass. The car park is next to a really good playpark, there are areas for both younger children and older. There is a toilet and a basic kiosk open until 4pm. We visited in July and the car park was busy so we went up to see the light house and came back and there were spaces.

Quiet unspoilt beach with expansive viewsThere was a pile of netting, rope and plastic washed up and collected up to clear the foreshore / beach and I also took some away myself and binned it at the playpark. The sand is golden the views are lovely and there were very few folks there, a good place to walk your dog...Leave no trace and take your rubbish away.....then places like these will remain a treasure.

After a windy visit to the lighthouse at the Butt of Lewis it's a five minute trip to the beautiful Eoropie beach and dunes. Just the two of us there for over an hour, beautiful, sunny and the sound of the waves. Perfect holiday feeling. Then for an energetic way back to the carpark we climbed the dunes and enjoyed views both out to sea and inland across the fields and crofts.

Beautiful beach, lovely and quiet when I was there. Nice dunes, clean bright sand and stunningly clear water. Interesting sandbar on the beach that causes a slight bore as the incoming tide pushes back the stream.Good parking. Walked around the headland to the lighthouse too. Nice.

Absolutely stunning beach, white sand, blue sea and some great waves of your into surfing. Some great sand dunes to hide in too. There's a car park about a 5 minute walk to the beach, there's also a children's playground with some picnic benches.

Amazing beach, perfect for surfing and body-boarding. Wild, windswept and never crowded. My favourite place to be!

Beautiful, quiet, and clean. Wonderful locals too. I've been to this location many times since I have family here and I'm never let down by anything other than the forever changing weather.
