Really great range of clothing and surf stuff. They were so friendly and helpful when I went in. I’d definitely recommend. Plus the artwork on sale there was really unique and beautiful.

It’s rare to find a stylish surf lifestyle shop like this anywhere, which oozes pure class. The clothing and surfing equipment are top quality and carefully curated, boasting some super cool retro styles I’ve never seen before (despite having lived in California and Sydney!). Along with a great selection of clothes, wetsuits and accessories for men, women and kids, there are some irresistible gifts and homewares, such as the coconut shell bowls and candles, again very high quality and stylish, not to mention original artwork items from one of the talented owners, Emily. Throw in the friendly welcome, local beach insights from real surfers and great product knowledge, and you’ll see why Balsa is so unique and worth multiple visits :-)

Some really cool brands and some beautiful artwork on offer, I can’t wait to shop here again. Loved the decor and the feel of the shop. The owners are super knowledgeable about the products they sell and are really fun and friendly. This place is exactly what the town needs!

Amazing new local surf shop in Porthcawl with fantastic surf and lifestyle products which have been well thought out by the owners to include a variety of eco products. Definitely worth a visit even if you are not a surfer, you will find the owners welcoming and full of advice!

Brilliant shop.Popped in whilst on holiday for some surf stuff and the guy was super helpful and knowledgeable.They also have skateboards, homewares and art- I came away with a painting, as well as a school bag for the boy and some bracelets for the girl too.Definitely pop in, you won't be disappointed. This is the best shop- just wish we lived here so we could use it all the time.

What a lovely little shop, beautifully laid out with very knowledgeable and helpful staff.What I liked best about this shop was The amount of sustainable Products available.I'll definitely be back soon for one of those coconut shell candles!!

Popped in for some wax & and a board bag. Guy there super knowledgeable and helpful. Really nice shop. So rare to find a proper surf shop these days and this actually is one! Reckon I’ll get the wife some pressies from the arty stuff as well. Nice experience cheers
