Very impressed with the overall ease and speed of the process. We wanted to confirm whether our twins were identical or not, I booked the test online and within the week we had the kit. Very simple instructions and easy to do. Packaged it all and sent off on the 23rd December and we had results by 3rd January. Would recommend.

My samples were sent by regular post since I am outside UK and the email asking me if I want to pay extra for express delivery reached the spam folder. The kit arrived in about two weeks because of this delay. After I sent it back with the collected samples, the results were available in one week (shipping time included), so quite fast. The kit is easy to use and comes with very helpful instructions if it’s the first time you do such a test.I am satisfied with the overall experience and the quality of the services. The ISO accreditation guarantees for the overall quality of the testing process, while the price is very good compared to other laboratories.

I had undergone 25 years of not knowing if my father was my father , he died years ago still not knowing , so I decided to find out via my eldest brother to confirm we shared the same father and GTLDNA made this a very easy way to confirm this, very quick, they helped so much and would highly recommend that anyone who needs confirmation of who they are please do not hesitate to use this company.

First of all I found the fee requested for the service to be less than their competitors, and offering the same service. Once I paid the DNA self testing kit was promptly sent out and received swiftly.The instructions within the kit where clear and user friendly. The kit itself contained mouth swabs which was straight to obtain DNA. The mothers blood was less straight forward to obtain as the blood vials supplied didn't come with the vacutainer fitting required to make the whole process seamless. This delayed the process of obtaining the blood and therefore the results at a highly stressful time. However this could've been overcome by more willingness by medical professional used to obtain the blood. After many enquiries over several days (which I will mention included the third party service recommended by GTLDNA, but I wouldn't due to their poor communication of updates) a private hospital was found that used the correct fittings. Job done. I feel I must say the service by GTLDNA via the telephone was exemplary in trying to remedy this issue. They were prompt in answering, informed and always returned phone calls.Once the blood was obtained and a long with the rest of the kit, it was set off via FEDEX. An e-mail was sent to confirm that it had arrived at the labratory and a date with the projected results. Much to my delight, and suspicions, they under promised and over delievered with the results. An e-mail was received with the attached DNA results file a week earlier than stated.I'm giving the service 4 out of 5, but only due to the farce that was trying to draw blood, but as stated that's not necessarily down to GTLDNA.So if you're unfortunate enough to find yourself in the position needing this service, I'd certaintly recommend GTLDNA.

I ordered the health DNA test just out of interest as there's various conditions within the family. I thought it would be interesting to see if I was predisposed to anything.The test was really simple to do, sent back in the post and I was really shocked at how quickly the results came back ( well before the estimated timeframe given)Great service, and interesting if you can afford to do it!!

The sibling DNA Test conducted in 2011 was wrong. I have since taken another DNA test proving as much. Additionally I have learned that those tests are highly unreliable and do not believe you should even be offering such a test at least at that time.
