£7900 Diamond Ring now worth £1k (professional resale valuation) in less than 4 years.Answer from Goldsmiths are that valuation types vary (but we aren’t talking insurance here) and so do prices of diamonds - who knew the diamond market has crashed?Just be warned that with a 700% mark up there is no discount under 75%-80% that makes this a place to go shop. Make an effort and go to a proper diamond jewellery shore.

Exceptional help from the staff. I had bought an Eternity ring which was on sale with a huge saving of £1000 and was exactly what I had been looking for as a present to my wife after our 5th child. Unfortunately it was a size too small and I returned to the store where the staff couldn't be more helpful calling store after store to find a ring to exchange with. Fantastic customer service.

The young man was pleasant and professional when I collected my two watches, it took only two weeks to get watches back. The other staff were having quite a personal conversation in front of a customer (me) which I thought was not appropriate in a workplace setting in front of and within earshot of customers, not professional really and does not reflect my experience of goldsmith stores elsewhere!

We had some jewellery that we had inherited appraised here, and I was so impressed by the service I received. I felt really valued as a customer and was very happy with the appraisal documents. In future, if we are looking for jewellery, we will be going to goldsmith's as a first port of call.

After purchasing my wedding ring from Salisbury branch I was disheartened when there was a fault with the ring and I had to send it for repair.Alan went above and beyond to help with my repair, taking care of everything and contacting me by phone and email ensuring everything went to order. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY....My husband purchased a ring from the shop which was for sale in white gold but he had customised to a white gold ring. As this was a surprise and I was not there the lady informed him the best way to get my ring size was to measure a current ring of mine?My partner did this and guess what....the ring didn't fit!!When I called them to advise what the next steps were I was told that I couldn't exchange the ring due to it being customised (even tho it was only changed from gold to white gold), that due to the location of the diamonds it was highly unlikely they would be able to stretch it and IF they could stretch it then it would be £100 per half size.Absolutely disgusting service with no after care!

Amazing, knowledgeable and friendly staff, who are very helpful.Unfortunately upon opening my purchase in the day light, I saw a small scuff mark on the front and micro scratches on thr back of the dial of this new watch.
