I spoke to Jim to ask for some advice. It was relating to remedial work being carried out by neighbour's builders after they damaged the party wall. Jim was brilliant and generous on the phone and gave clear advice, directing me to source material online. We recently had our lounge and bedroom soundproofed in a new build link-detached property which is approx. two years old. We initially contacted Quietco in December 2020 and in January 2021, Jim came to our property for a consultation. After months of deliberation and the struggles we were having with unwanted impact noise from our neighbours (which included children running/jumping at all times in the day/night, wardrobes and windows being slammed shut and heavy footsteps etc), we decided to take the plunge and go ahead with the project. The work recently completed in December 2021 and it was to an exceptionally high standard with the whole team working tirelessly throughout the month-long project.The whole process from the initial consultation, emails back and forth to Jim, to the actual project starting was seamless and totally stress free! Quietco managed our project from start to finish and we used their electrician, plumber and carpet fitter so everything was taken care of. Jim and his team were professional, polite, friendly and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure they put the Customer first. No job was any trouble for Quietco! The Customer Service was second to none and it was great to see the project from start to finish – working from home was an added bonus! You really appreciate all the hard work that goes into soundproofing.The Installation Team of Nick, Sam and Tom made time to answer any questions and kept us updated with what they had done. They also sent us progress photos within our WhatsApp group throughout the day and at the end of each day, they left the areas they were working in extremely clean and tidy ready for the next day.It has been two months now since our project finished and we are really pleased to say that we no longer hear much of the impact noises that were previously a nuisance. The sound we do hear is quite minimal compared to before so it has made a HUGE difference. The noise rarely disrupts our day and we no longer feel stressed! The investment is well and truly worth it to stay in the home we love. I first consulted with Quietco a year before the construction of my drum room. They advised me on the most appropriate materials to build the outer shell of the studio, in order to optimise the soundproofing, prior to the room within a room being built, and they were only too happy to engage with me to support the initial build. I really valued the ongoing consultation as it assisted in shaping the whole project. They provided a detailed schedule of the build of the inner drum room and this was stuck to completely. The professionalism of Jim and his team surpassed my expectations and regular photo updates of the build via real time updates kept me informed of progress.

Making the decision to get professional soundproofing was a big fiancial decision for us to make.After moving from flat where neighbour below played heavy bass whilst we had to work from home due to Covid we then moved to terrace house where neighbours tv was mounted to the party wall chimney and occasional very loud music from bedroom that you could hear in every room. Having our living room soundproofed so we can have just one room that we knew we can have more quiet and feel some level of privacy was something I believed was worth trying.The Quiet Co experience and customer service has been brilliant, any fear of being pressured in to making a quick decision about a high quality service didn't exist. We were lucky in some ways as newly moving in to house we were doing up, that having our living room soundproofed coincided with us wanting to redecorate but features we liked like our fireplaces they insured would be put pack how it was before. Say if we wanted an extra plug this was absolutly no problem. Considering we were having our walls, ceilings and floors changed and then replastered I didn't find the works being done at all stressfull, everything was cordinated and organised for me such as the electricians, plumbers, carpet fitters and plasterers. I simply let people in at the begining of the day who were friendly and very efficient and at the end of the day everything was tidied away.Hearing loud and consistent noise from neighbours has really left me very sensistive to intrusive sounds, and sound proofing was an investment that we made for home which no one would be able to even notice. I can 100% say I have no regrets with our decision, even though we knew there was no guarantee about the exact result there is a difference. Seeing the layers and quality of the material go up I feel reasurred that Quiet Co are experts at what they do and the techniques used are better than anything I've seen when I exploring all our options for soundproofing.

Quietco gave us our lives back!!We brought our first home, the house we thought we could live in forever in August 2020. Soon after moving in we realised how much noise was transmitted through from next door. Our neighbours had 3 children and a badly behaved dog. The banging, screaming and shouting became unbearable, we moved out of the master bedroom into the smaller back room and very very rarely used out living room. We could make out conversations, what TV show they were watching and who was in which room of their house. The noise was absolutely unbearable and they would leave their large dog to bark for hours. After several attempts at polite conversations and even the local council intervention, we realised our neighbours did not care and would intentionally bang on the walls and scream to provoke us. We looked into moving but could not afford anything similar in the area. So that is where quietco came in. Jim came and looked at the house and highlighted the areas that needed the sound proofing. His team arrived within a few weeks and got started. They found holes in our suspended floor that required 6 bricks to fill in! From start to finish Jim's team were absolutely incredible! So clean, tidy and courtious! If it wasn't for the progress in the sound proofing each day you would not have thought they had been there as everything was imacculate. Sam and Daz are an absolute asset to the company!Since the day they left we have been able to use our living room every day. We can no longer hear conversations or their television, the banging is almost non existant and we can't even tell if the neighbours are in our out!
