Jon was lovely and a real laugh. Made my first time on a paddle board informative and fun. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a laugh in a safe environment

Great fun. First time paddle boarding- at 69! - and first time for the grandsons, 13 and 10, but John was very patient and easy going with us so no stress. I did struggle getting to stand up but great sense of achievement when you do manage it - and I only fell in twice! Lovely setting too. Recommended.

Had an amazing time being introduced to paddle boarding for the first time. I had been wanting to experience SUP boarding for a long time and my partner arranged for us to go for my 40th birthday. We had an amazing time and the instructor did a great job tutoring us. I was impressed by the end of the session we were all standing up on our boards (not bad for a bunch of beginners). He also made it a lot of fun with little mini challenges and games. I will definitely be using this company again.

My son had a fantastic session with Jon and team on Friday! He has paddled for several years but learned so many new skills and had a great time! He generally doesn’t like doing holiday clubs but has begged me to book him in again next holiday! The session was so well organised and I felt confident that my son would be well looked after with experienced leaders. Thank you!

Had a great time today with John, our first time paddle boarding. Very supportive and informative teacher, showing us how to paddle effectively, and the 'must haves' to stay safe. Helped us to finesse our technique, and progress to different skills. Lovely riverside setting too. I would highly recommend.

I went on a SUP improver's coarse with Bath Paddleboard Centre led By Jon Archer. Jon is extremely good at his craft and his passion for the sport is infectious. In the two hours I learned that my stance was incorrect and my paddle technique inefficient. Following minor tweaks I am now capable of paddling in a straight line with more pace for less energy expenditure. I can't wait to get some serious practice in and return in a few months for another session. I cannot recommend Jon enough for how he has improved both my technique and confidence.

Highly recommended. I’ve longed to try this ever since from the train seeing someone serenely paddleboarding through the countryside. Really good tuition at right level. High quality kit. Beautiful views and we saw a heron, mother duck and ducklings close by on the banks. Blissful. Fabulous birthday present.

Great Friday night out paddling in Bath. The event was well organised and Jon made the evening fun whilst also giving lots of paddleboarding tips. Particularly liked the canal section. Will have to do it during the day next time!
