Paul repaired 2 vintage trumpets for me. He was a joy to deal with and the quality of his work was absolutely first class. Can highly recommend to anyone needing brass instrument repairs or restoration.

Went to see Brass Toff with a problem with one of my valves (after I foolishly tried to remove a stuck valve cap myself). Paul kindly sorted it for me while I waited. He also knocked out a few dents in the bell and generally went about his work whilst chatting amiably. When I got home and blew all three valves were playing as smoothly as they ever had. And the trumpet as a whole seemed to be much more responsive and the notes much more centred. Was a tired horn that I’ve played for several hours a day for nearly 20 years, and Paul has definitely given it a new lease of life. Superb craftsman…highly recommended!

Paul at brass toff serviced my prestige euphonium and it came back feeling brand new.I also asked Paul to look at and tidy up a 100 year old tarnished, unplayable, dinged SA euphonium I had acquired. When returned, I couldn’t believe the transformation. That wasn’t far off being brand new too.
