Staff on ward 10 were amazing!! Well looked after but still given my own space! Hayley stood out to me!! Went above and beyond! Absolutely lovely person!! Thank u ward 10!! Xx

The hospital was absolutely filthy, with blood and dirt as well as rubbish all over the floor. The receptionist on ward 10 had a foul and patronising attitude. Was not pleased with this service and am quite unsure about what the cleaners were doing besides smiling into the room we were in. The nurses were lovely however, and is the only thing serving this more than 2 stars. Shame about the receptionist though. The volunteers at the doors were very helpful and polite also.

Attended this morning 23/09/23 for an ultrasound scan @ 09-00. Arrived early at the main X-ray department to be met by the most pleasant staff member who directed me to where to wait, within minutes he came back to tell me that I was next on the list. In no time he came back and took me through to the Ultrasound department where I had my scan again this was carried out by polite and courteous lady who explained everything. I was on my way home by 09-00. Thank you all for such a pleasant experience, good job done by all concerned.John Todd

Had to go here again with severe abdominal pain. The service I received from everyone in the Ambulatory department was brilliant, and the consultations with initially Sasha Bill, and then Clara Munro were absolutely first class!They explained everything in great detail, as the initial scan some time ago, indicated a hernia, but their examination ruled this out. They recommended a new, differing care plan to my GP.Once again, thanks to all at Cramlington for the excellent service.

Would really like to thank this hospital for the amazing job they do and how fantastic they have been with my mum who recently suffered a stroke. The care from the A&E department up to the stroke word, they did not just care and treat my mum they supported her through it all which gave her the best treatment she needed and slowly now recovering thank you so much she also praises you all for her care

Last night I was taken to the emergency room by ambulance and the treatment was very good, unfortunately the pain in the chest is great and we were there until 4 in the morning when they said I should come back again today at 15:45 because more tests are needed. But the unprofessional thing was that they sent me home with an angio-coat and they didn't think about the consequences and pain. This makes me sad.

The hyper Acute stroke ward nurses were the rudest and useless nurses I have ever come across. My Mother had passed and they were all sitting in the middle of the ward laughing and talking about what they were doing on the weekend. They were told by the student nurse that there had been a death however still continued laugh. I stood outside my mothers room in distress for what felt like hours as the nurses were gossiping about other patients. The student came over and escorted me to a break room away from the noise and comforted me.I think it’s absolutely disgusting that there were multiple professionals sitting gossiping as the student was rushing around the ward and I was stood there in tears. (They were 4 steps away from me) So disrespectful! The student was lovely Felt extremely sorry for her.

Excellent care of my Dad from start to finish, staff on a and e and ward 3 were very caring, we were kept informed at every stage. The place was spotless and all of the staff were so friendly. Makes it a lot easier when you are worrying about a relative to have a little bit of compassion and careThank you all so very much, wish you were paid what you are worth

I was sent here by ambulance after an accident in which I thought I had damaged my hip. From admission to discharge I was treated quickly, triage and X-ray, given diagnosis ( pubic rami fracture)by Dr. Kris Lawson and a lovely physiotherapist gave me advice for when I got home.All in all a fantastic service! All staff including nurses and porter were so kind and professional!Thank you . Mrs Janet Alston16/07/23

An outstanding example of how a maternity service should run.We had an unexpected week long stay due to needing an emergency c-section - which was dealt with in the most professional and caring manner by the doctors and midwives.We felt safe and very well looked after at all times. As the dad I was allowed to stay overnight - this is not available at other units in the north east, which we felt was crucial for the recovery of us all.Cannot thank the whole team enough!
