Forth Bridge

Wonderful experience, saw so many seals, and different birds. Very well maintained town. You can see the 3 bridges together from the forth bridge viewpoint - Forth bridge, a celebrated Scottish landmark and a milestone in the development of railway civil engineering in 1890, Queensferry crossing, UK'a tallest bridge and Forth road bridge, one of the largest long span suspension bridges. A cruise to one of the islands there is a must experience!

As a bridge engineer this bridge is truly a masterpiece. Make sure you visit the cafe nearby for more background on how the bridge came to be.

Iconic piece of 19c engineering spanning the Forth. I actually took the majority of photos from North Queensferry which means coming from Edinburgh you get to cross the Forth first. I note that a lot of emphasis is placed on taking photographs from South Queensferry which is can understand from the aspect of the sun being in the South. But I'm happy with my shots.

Good location with a beautiful river view.5 minutes walk from bridge will take you to a beautiful stone in water

Greats place to visit. Can't visualize every one has to vist directly to get the feel. Very big and huge. Hats off for the engineers and workers who worked on this project. Best time to visit is morning and evening to see sun rise and set with different shades of colours.

The history of this bridge and the town is worthy of a full day tour but the guide must think everyone is deaf! We had to tell him to lower the volume several times. I would Take hearing protection. Edinburgh castle!

Really enjoyed being here again, what a view but this time was to support our younger daughter. To come down the bridge for charity.Nice!

Always wanted to make this trip, was not disappointed. Even spotted two seals. Great to listen to the noise as trains pass over, picnic area, under bridge, small parking lott. Enjoy
