Active Sussex
Always very supportive and engaging with both the work we look to deliver, specific to our project work, but also keen to engage through their own initiatives and networks of delivery. They communicate well, which is a never ending battle most of the time, and they're keen to listen, help and try to support all we do in the ways they feel they can add value, whether that be directly through themselves, or by connecting partners to build relationships.

A great organisation promoting and developing sporting opportunities throughout Sussex both in Schools and the wider community . Offering excellent support and training opportunities as well as funding. Our club, Table Tennis Rother, has been delighted to work in partnership with Active Sussex to support more Children and Young People to become active.

The Active Sussex team are a vital partner for anyone working in community sport. The team are extremely knowledgeable about funding opportunities, sharing best practice, making connections and providing the latest research insight. If we have ideas for new projects, the first call we make is to Active Sussex to sound them out.

Active Sussex is at the heart of creating positive networks of community minded organisations, who want to use sport and physical activity to support people of all ages to live happier and healthier lives. They bring together the sport, education and health sectors to drive meaningful change. Their approachable and knowledable staff are always on hand to support in developing strategies, help understand and implement standards, or just help create collaborations to achieve a greater impact. Their networking conferences are also a must!
