I had a wonderful experience at Gatehouse brides back in March 2022 when I chose my dress. Julie couldn't have been more welcoming and the first dress she pulled out was one I never thought I would have wanted and was the one I said yes to! I tried on many dresses but this one just made me feel amazing! Jo, the in-house seamstress was wonderful too. I cannot recommend Gatehouse brides enough, thank you so much!

Gatehouse Brides was the first and only shop I visited! I found my dress on the first visit. I didn't want to spend months trawling through different shops and I was glad that I didn't need to! Julie and the team were so lovely and helpful through the whole process. Thank you again.. Steph x

Firstly- Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!I have have been passed this shop a ridiculous amount of times throughout my life- peering inside every time to see the dresses in the window and getting a glimpse of brides trying on so many beautiful dresses! A little pinch- me moment happened when I turned into one of those brides and was given the opportunity to try on so many wonderful gowns! This was made even better by the amazing customer service I received while at Gatehouse Brides!Julie made my family and I feel very welcome and quickly showed us she knew exactly what she was doing. I went in with an open mind and some vague (and rather opposing) ideas of what I'd like to try on from the sample Gatehouse Brides has online. Julie was a complete expert and guided me through my choices, showing me a few examples of things to make sure I definitely didn't want that style and ultimately helping me say 'yes to the dress'!! She was incredible! Julie picked up on what I was feeling and gave me extra information/guidance on everything I tried on. After just a few dresses, she'd figured out what I liked/wanted and the last dress she pulled was the one (although we did re-try a couple on her recommendation to double check!).I have honestly never felt so beautiful and special, as I did trying on dresses here. It was everything I wanted the experience to be! Although I don't get to try on any more dresses, I am sure I made the right decision with the help of both Julies at Gatehouse brides!

I have driven past gatehouse brides for years and I always said I’d go there one day, well today was my day and it was everything I dreamed of and more. Most importantly I said yes to my dress! Julie made me feel so comfortable, relaxed and it is clear she is passionate and loves the role she plays in your special day. I would 100% recommend, we did try another bridal shop however it did not compare in terms of the experience, quality and hospitality. Thank you again Julie, I already cannot wait to come back for my fitting x

Absolutely loved the two Julie’s @ gatehouse brides. This was my first wedding dress shop I had visited and I walked out with a huge smile on my face because I said YES to the most amazing dress.Not only that, the two Julie’s made me feel like a princess. So warm and kind which made me feel so relaxed.They stock the most beautiful dresses so if you are planning on getting married I would 100% recommend these two lovely ladies.Thank you so much. I had an amazing experience when I went to Gatehouse Brides, Julie was very friendly, but at the same time very professional. I was made to feel really special throughout the whole process. I had a lovely phone call before my appointment that felt really personal, in a good way, getting to know exactly what I was looking for, and to get a feel of my whole Wedding day, even going as far as to research my venue. On the day, more time was taken at the start of the appointment to get to know me some more, along with the rest of my Bridal party, before trying on so many beautiful dresses, and I never felt rushed or pressured once. Although unfortunately I didn't end up saying yes to the dress from here, I just know that if I had, I would have been so looked after from beginning to end. I even had a follow up phone call to see how I was getting on, and to ask if there was anything else they could do, always going above and beyond. I would highly recommend Gatehouse Brides to anyone, you won't be disappointed!

I would recommend this bridal shop to absolutely anyone, the staff are so kind and thoughtful, I found my dream dress.Julie bought my dress on the day of my wedding and she was absolutely wonderful to me as I was so nervous.Beautiful people, beautiful dresses just a fantastic place… Thank you gatehouse brides for making me a princess for the day xxx

Julie and the team were amazing, they made me so comfortable and the dresses are stunning. I found my amazing dress and veil at gatehouse brides after trying quite a few. I had a number of alterations and Jo was fab. Thank you again!

I had the most wonderful experience with Julie and Julie. I couldn’t believe that the dress they had selected for me to try on first was the dress I said ‘yes’ to. They are utter magicians! Julie took the time to have a detailed phone call with me beforehand to talk through the sort of thing I liked and what I didn’t want, so she could get a good idea of the sort of dress I would like to try. And she got it bang on! Gatehouse Brides was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They have a beautiful selection of dresses and they make you feel so special. If I could give more than five stars, I would!
