Lakeside View Caravan Park

It is a beautiful location with spectacular views. Nice and quiet when we were there.

Lovely campsite well laid out views are stunning. Facilities are clean however the cooker in the campers kitchen is a bit outdated could do with being upgraded.The owners are lovely and extremely helpful.So if your looking for quietness and beautiful stunning views then this is the campsite for you.Your only 15mins away from Lisburn City centre.

What a little gem!Stayed here for 3 nights camping with the family (3kids) and it was everything we had hoped!Super clean toilets and camping kitchen.The little park the kids loved and played with other children.To top it off you get an incredible view.Thanks again, we will be back!

Quiet owners very friendly.bus stop just outside of park

Been meaning to do this only got a computer in Jan ... but anyway i use this site every weekend and have done now for 6 years the site is very peaceful lovely views always kept neat and tidy by the owners, it is close to hillsborough and dromara to pick up last minute bits and pieces or use the local store in nearby Anahilt, good facilities on site and small play area for kids so try it out its good spot just to get away and relax. you will be surprised!!

Booking the spot was not entirely easy as the landlord is really not easy to understand, especially not at the phone. In the end we found the place behind an old farm and got a warm welcome by a really friendly dog. The site offers a nice view over a lake nearby. The facilities were basic, the toilets didn't flush properly, the showers (in the lady's only one worked) were cold in the evening, so better use them in daytimes ; -). For one night, it was ok, but nothing special. There is a playground for children, but one of the items looks seriously rust-eaten, not sure if that's entirely safe anymore.

Very unhygienic and an unpleasant experience. I won't be returning in my lifetime. If I could rate 0/5 I would.

I stayed on this site for one evening and couldn't fault it. The facilities were spotless, the views are fantastic and the hosts were very friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Came to camp. One of the owners came to chat while I finished setting up. Told me I had a lovely looking dog. I replied yes and he loves to jump on people. Ushered dog into tent on a lead that was staked to the ground. Owner came to close and dog jumped up to him. The owner punched my dog in the head. Once dog was on all four paws punched him on the head again. I told the owner not to hit my dog. Owner thought he could continue chatting. This morning we packed to leave and asked for the remaining nights refund. Owners wife disputed what had happened and said she was going to refuse a refund. After back and forth I received my refund. Very disappointed.

Terrible Experience, total disappointment and horrible service. Was going for 2 nights and owner 'Isabelle' had shut off power at one point. I am from down south and me and my family were judged because of that, still sectarian tension. Very disappointing.DO NOT RECOMMEND!
